We have stayed multiple times. Worth noting every unit has different furnishings. For a 2 bed 511 is amazing. Modern, aircon - absolutely perfect view on level 5. No dishwasher though. For a 3 bed we really enjoyed 512. Huge apartment, super comfy beds. Dishwasher however no air con (fans though!) Plastic outdoor table as opposed to 511 beautiful outdoor furnishing. Both very clean. The pool and beach are amazing. Pool is heated and always quiet. Parking is great undercover and secure. Washing machines in units great when travelling with kids! Managers are beyond friendly and keep the place in amazing shape! Can’t wait to go back!

Nice view but let down with dated unit, not much cutlery or plates. Room was very hot especially in morning with the sun. Carpet in room very old and dirty, not good price for what you get. IGA across the road was handy. Would be nice to take a boat out on the water.

The on-site managers are rude and incompetent - we will not be re-booking. Since the new managers have taken over, we’ve had countless poor experiences, unlike the previous polite and courteous managers.
Safety Concerns: In 2023, we reported a dangerous chair in our unit. My husband tested it to see if it was suitable for breastfeeding my newborn daughter, and it collapsed, nearly causing an accident. We informed management - and they blamed us - claiming our child broke the chair.
Rude Treatment: Despite a poor experience in 2023, we rebooked for 2024 due to the location’s suitability for kayaking. Upon check-in, we were rudely lectured about rules, reminiscent of being scolded as a child. We witnessed managers speaking rudely to other visitors many times - including when Rebecca yelled at another lady who was checking out - yelling that she was "too busy to assist her". She didn't even say goodbye to this visitor who was checking out - extremely appalling.
Security: The balcony doors and screens couldn’t be locked. Despite reporting this in 2023, it remained unfixed in 2024. Within an hour of us checking in - management informed me that the locks still were not fixed - and asked us (while we were still unpacking) to take photos of the issues. Why would a family on holiday want to take photos of an issue that you should have fixed 12 months ago?
Poor Maintenance: We used our personal Dyson vacuum upon arrival as noticed it was quite dirty - and we instantly filled its entire canister with dirt and debris. Laundry smelled like something rotten and we had to keep it closed. The thick cobwebs in the main bedroom and living space need a good sweep with a broom - it’s worse than communal bathroom facilities I’ve used at outdoor campgrounds.
Inconsistent Parking Rules: During our stay, we received conflicting instructions about visitor parking. Despite coming here for 20+ years without issue, new management are suddenly pinging four (4) separate families for breaking "rules" that never existed prior to this year. Many permanent residents don't appear to understand they live in a 'resort' and they constantly complain about the visitors.
Unprofessional Conduct: Management often smiled at visitors, only to roll their eyes behind their backs. We actually saw management do this to both permanent residents and visitors - it actually became quite entertaining/fascinating during our stay (like a good TV show!). Management should realise that there are mirrors in reception.
BBQ Drama: In 2023, management accused my husband of leaving the BBQ dirty, despite my husband not using it. They were insistent that it was specifically him. Note that management should instead steer their attention towards their own cleanliness of units.

We will not be re-booking. The Body Corporate and unit owners should be aware of these issues. Body corporate should also note that on-site management is in breach of by-laws by not having the screens and doors lock.

Overall this is a wonderful complex, great view for us was over the sea with great weather exciting sunrise and sunsets every day and eateriesetc withinshort walk. Down side they don't have high speed internet so connection was poor and unreliable. Our room was very cold at night and had a small fan heater that after 2 hours the the power cord was hotter than the heater. For 8 days, we had our bedding changed but not the bath towels. If these improve it will be a great place to stay.

Best aspect of this hotel is the view and spacious living room. Beautiful scenic landscape of Golden Beach is just across the street! Everything else is fine, and the kitchen has mostly everything you need, although some more detergent would be nice. Overall, amazing but you need to make sure you get the view.

Ladies at the desk were beyond helpful after a stressful day and trip to the emergency department they made all the difference. Rooms is beautiful and spacious photos online don't do it justice .parking don't bring a big car as alittle difficult to monuever

We stayed at unit 718 for 8 nights and had a lovely time. This unit was booked through Caloundra Holiday Centre so luckily had nothing to do with Riviere as management there were rude and unfriendly. Couldn't fault Caloundra Holiday Centre. The key had to be picked up from there and returned at the end of the stay. ||||The unit was on the 7th floor with great views of the water. Very large apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The shower in the ensuite was a bit difficult to get into as it is in the spa so we just used the main bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and it was all in great condition. The whole apartment was clean and tidy. Shops were literally across the road. The only thing we would fault was the uncomfortable cane lounge.

We stayed at Riviere on Golden Beach for a week and it was really nice. The place had a medium size pool but comfortable for my children to play. a couple of mins walking distance to Spar for shopping, several cafes & restaurants. You can also drive 5 mins to Coles or Woolies. The view from the balcony was excellent. The apartment had all the equipment that you need. I can recommend to anyone who would like to stay here. The lady at the reception was very nice, too.
