I've stayed twice at this beautiful B&B on the banks of the Franklin River, and both times it's been a lovely experience. |Marie the proprietor is the perfect host, the rooms are charming and transform you back to a bygone era. For the price they are by far the best value for money anywhere in Tasmania. The pizzas from the little pizza place just up the road are amazing and a really unexpected delight and the views across the river are picture postcard pretty. If you are heading south make sure you call in even if's a little way out of your way to stay the night, you won't be disappointed, actually you'll be really pleased you did. the view, the smell of roses(and many other flowers in the garden),home made jams for breakfast with croissants and strong plunger coffee, powerful, hot shower, extremely comfortable pillows and so clean and pretty room. I loved it, my husband found it bit noisier for his liking, but all above make him happy to enjoy the stay. The owner goes the extra mile, Maria is very friendly and provides great hospitality. recommended restaurant across the road was excellent.

What a beautiful place to stay. Our room was a delight. So light and clean. Linda our host was warm and friendly, made us feel very welcome. We slept wonderfully. Great breakfast in the morning. Will be staying there next time we visit Tasmania. We dined at the restaurant across the street Petty Sessions, which was excellent.

Host was very friendly. She went above and beyond what was required by offering to do our washing after a weeks hike. The breakfast was great with real coffee. Rooms and house was immaculate. Close to pub and cafes and bus.

This B&B had a comfortable bed, but the room was small and there was no television and no Wi-Fi. The dining table remained fully set up for breakfast all the time, so we couldn't use it for anything else, leaving us in our room.
