The place is Nice for Events. That's where Bread of Life Church International Gather from every Sunday.the Rooms are nice

Nice space for hire. Great for use if thinking of a special event. Only thing to note, we used it in the afternoon. Found the AC inadequate, not sure why Was a bit warm inside given it was also pretty warm weather outside. Reasonable hire rate. The kitchen is very well equipped.

Avoid Rivervale Community Centre for Private Functions - Insecure Venue

Our experience was nothing short of disastrous. We booked the venue for a private function, but what was supposed to be a joyous occasion turned into a nightmare. During the event, someone smashed the windows of two cars parked in the main carpark, stealing valuables from one of them. To make matters worse, the perpetrators returned multiple times, attempting to cause further damage.

Despite reporting the incident to the City of Belmont, the security patrol arrived but left after a short duration. We were left to fend for ourselves, forced to remain vigilant and station people to watch over the cars and guests. The constant threat of further vandalism cast a shadow over the entire event, leaving everyone feeling scared and uncomfortable.

The management's response to our concerns was disappointing, refusing to take responsibility or offer compensation for the distress and disruption caused. Given the lack of security and poor response, I would strongly advise against hosting private functions at Rivervale Community Centre. The venue's insecure environment and inadequate security measures make it a liability for anyone looking to host a safe and enjoyable event.

I was here last night for a Birthday Party.

They hired this venue and it is actually a good size and has a nice decent size kitchen area. The only thing it would have been a much nicer experience if lights were dimmable.

Noone wants to have a birthday party with the clinical lighting.
You can, of course work around it by turning off light sections from the meter but it is of course not ideal, but, overall - a decent venue.

We were about 50 people and there was plenty of room.

A beautiful place to hold seminars and workshops. Very clean and strategically located. Ample parking available

Held our baby shower here and was impressed with the facilities. We had our own toilet, kitchen, and playground. Plenty of table and chairs available for use, and the air-con worked. Would not hesitate to book this venue again 🎈

Great location. Parking is minimal but street parking available on side St. Booked venue for kids party and the lawn was massively over grown no one could sit or play on it. Playground tidy.
Kitchen & floors could do with a deep clean & tidy. Rest was maintained well.
