Located beside the river and walking distance to the city via bridges. My room was a fully set up bungalow with cooking facilities. It was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

This park had plenty of room in Oct, it's on the bank of the muddy brown Fitzroy River. U can walk to shops, but remember it's hot weather. Not a great place if you want to sleep, lots of sirens day and night, seriously bad screeching Galahs and constant lorikeets chatter. Amenities were clean.

We arrived at Riverside around 4pm. I didn't find the reception staff overly friendly or helpful. I was told the park was accessible to come and go at any stage as it was not locked and how to get to our villa. We had a 2 room villa. The main area had a queen bed, kitchenette, dining table for two and a two person couch. The kitchenette had a hot plate, microwave, kettle, toaster, mini-fridge, sink and cutlery and crockery. The bedroom had a set of bunks (2 single beds) which our children thought were a bit rackety. The shower was hot, but the bathroom was a bit pokey. The park was as you would expect - on the river and my husband and one of our children had attempted to fish, however the tide didn't allow this to happen. It was a quiet and comfortable room. The balcony had a table and two chairs and was surrounded by a tropical feeling garden. I think it would be a good idea to use bug repellent if exploring the park at night. We would consider staying here again.

Hi, we never made it to this park. Had booked in for 12th august and told would have to pay for the one night in advance which we did. Rain was suppose to start on Sunday and big rain Monday Tuesday. Because of this we went inland away from the rain and continue our trip home as couldn’t wait around for the big rain totals to clear up. I rung and explained this to the owner as we didn’t want to be caught up in rain and then maybe floods to get out. He would not refund the money and just said it’s not raining here now which was the Sunday. Very disappointed and will not be going to that park next time up. One lesson learnt is do not pay ahead of time and that payment was in full.

Although we understand people live in caravan parks, we did not expect them to be swearing and drunk, arguing with each other. This is the first time we have felt unsafe in a park. |Two nights here, a family wedding to attend... or we would have left.|The dump site was right in front of a camp site and pretty unkempt. |Would not recommend

Park is in need of a renovation. The powered sites are very tight and the concrete slabs are old and cracked. Lots of ants and sand flys. Prepare to get attacked!!
Toilets facilities are dirty. They do not deep clean the toilets and go over the same spots every day. They need attention badly. The feeling you get from the park is that the owners have lost interest. No activities planned for people staying,the games room up stairs has magazines from 2017. It smells like something not cleaned in a long time. Not inviting at all. It's a shame as it could be a fantastic park if some love was put into it.
Laundry area needs attention, also the signs are misleading it states $1 for 8 or so mins but you need to put $6 in for it to work!!

Yet another great Experience while I stayed at the Riverside Caravan Park. Nice grounds, clean amenities and Friendly Service. Nice central location.
