I enjoyed my short stay at the apartment. The accommodation was great, with the view of Maroochy river. The rooms were pretty decent as well. And the best part is that the host Craig was very helpful. He even helped me in whatever way I needed even after hours. Thank you Craig for all your help you had given me.

This place is not worth the price they put on it. Room was tiny, chipped paint everywhere, road noise very loud, even with door closed. The bathroom was minuscule with a very narrow bath with sides so high you'd need a stepladder to climb in. The "manager" was pretty dismissive when we questioned the cost verses the quality of the room.
We found far better accommodation for the same price at the Holiday Inn .. go there. It's lovely and much better value for money and also includes buffet breakfast.

My experience at this accommodation was excellent. The easy check-in process, even outside regular hours, was a plus. The room offered a homely feel, complete with board games and books, adding a cozy touch to the stay. The off-street parking was convenient, and the availability of laundry facilities made it a practical choice. Overall, a comfortable and accommodating place that exceeded my expectations.

Don't expect a clean room! Level of cleaning was disgusting, dust motes hang from the ceilings in every room, the walls are covered in a thick gravity defying layer of dust, many old hand prints & marks that could be removed if cleaned properly. Even the carpet doesn't seem to meet the walls as it turns grey with dust, thick dust. Enter the bathroom & be greeted by black silicone, no it's mouldy white silicone, not just a little bit, all of it. Major yuck factor gets your filth antenna to full attention. Dust hanging from the vent in the bathroom, behind the cane laundry basket stupidly placed under the towel rail is more dust & cobwebs. Cobwebs & small spiders have a small community in the bedroom around the wooden slate blind that passed it's use by date some time ago, you can't keep the light out. Serious health risk if you have any breathing conditions. Saw staff once when paying, couldn't give verbal feedback on departure as they didn't answer the bell. Avoid avoid avoid.

The photos online are nothing like the rooms that are tiny and not well maintained and very tided looking. I booked through wotif then phone the River Sands to ask for a water front and was asked he he could cancel my booking with Wotif so he get all the money for the booking. As he was giving me a water front I saw no harm in agreeing, I book the accommodation for my grandson, his wife and two babies 1yr and 3mths which I told the reception and that I wanted it to be a special experience and would the room I booked be suitable or did I need a bigger room and I was assured it was absolutely fine. The room was so small and dirty there was no where for porta cots or not clean enough to put a child down so they didn't even stay the night. I called the next day to ask for a refund and haven't had a call and answerer to my massagers. Very rude man no I know why he wanted to cancel the booking as I would have been treated better and a refund with Wotif, don't stay there unless you are totally desperate, it cost me $550.00 for my families worst experience

Stayed for one night (10/03-11/03) had a booking for 2a, 2c. Great location, great facilities in the room, but the room was only done up to accommodate 2 people, not 4 like our booking stated, which was a letdown.

As we had all been up since 4am and had just come from a family funeral upon arrival, I wanted to approach management upon our checkout to let them know. Sadly, the office was closed.
The room was somewhat clean. Maybe a little extra care with dusting (in particular, window sills and blinds), making sure coffee cups are clean.

We'd love to come back, but we sincerely hope that next time we're accommodated accordingly.

Stayed 3 nights Sept School Holiday’s |Daughter and myself in a renovated one bedroom apartment. We stayed in U13 second level up about 25 stairs which didn’t bother us - good exercise. Nice Balcony with some River Views, Cool Apartment which catches the breezes. No noise from outside even though it was fully booked. Parking was tight if you had a large vehicle . Clean and Comfortable. Will def return if prices remain reasonable.

First time we have stayed here and in Maroochydore ..Room was for just a couple and it was great , big enough for us .Top floor ,with a Patio and river views .Plenty of kitchen space and utensils and crockery ..even had a fry pan and stove top. Modern look rooms and decent T V ..had a washing Machine in our room and dryer down stairs ..We planned to eat out and next night grabbed a easy micro meals while we had our 2 days there relaxing and not having to cook .. Shops only 10 min walk and the pub.meals there were ok.. Wet and cold so no pool for us but looked inviting ..Maybe next time . Place has been repainted in the last year or two and looks great. parking on site out the back covered areas. We would love to come back and get to chill out in the pool ..Thanks Craig [Manager]
