Good value motel, good quiet location but other guests can be noisy. Rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable beds. Daily room service was good. My only issue was not enough hot water when motel is full, I had cool shower 2 nights out of the 4 nights we stayed, very low water pressure in the shower. Recommend, would stay again.

Very impressed with River Motel! Just spent two nights there with my son while mountain biking in Canberra.
Very comfortable, clean and well presented. Nice and quiet, pleasant spot easy walking distance to Queanbeyan town centre for food and shopping.
Very reasonable tariff also, definitely recommend and would stay again!

Great very clean motel. Didn't need any service while there. Comfy bed and a microwave which suited me on the road. Central. One of the better budget motels I've ever stayed in.
Will use again when in that part of Aussie

My daughter and I just stayed at the River Motel for the weekend. We found the room very comfy, service was good. I think my only negative would be the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best but the rain shower head was nice. We will definitely look at staying here again.

I stayed here on Friday and Saturday night, I didn’t have a shower until Saturday night. When I went to have a shower I noticed that during cleaning on room change and my room maintenance clean both times they have seemed to have missed the empty shampoo and conditioner bottles from previous people staying.
Otherwise stay was very pleasant and nice. Just wanted to give the advice to the cleaners to maybe check the ledge in the shower when they are cleaning

Awesome little hotel
Very affordable
Clean , spacious with 2 double beds

Large shower with overhead shower head and sufficient water pressure

Great parking facilities that allow u to park right up to your room

The window has brand new slick. Sheer curtain with a blockout roller blind behind the sheer for added privacy

It’s right across the road from the river and 2 minute drive to local shops

I have stayed here three times previous to this current stay & have never had a problem until this most recent stay.
Upon arriving home, I discovered that I'd been charged an extra $253.75 cleaning fee for supposed dog pooh on the carpet in the entry way. There wasn't anything on the floor when we left, yet they have charged me a cleaning fee for something that wasn't my doing.

Good motel, reasonably priced and most importantly, dog friendly! Conveniently located near shops (either a 2 min drive or a 10 min walk). The room is spacious and the amenities are decent. Will definitely stay here again.
