My Wife and I had the misfortune to have Sunday (9th March 2025) lunch at this establishment. It was undoubtedly the worst meal we have had in Tasmania. It may sound surprising to describe it as revolting but truly it was.|We ordered from the Specials Board the Braised Shoulder of Lamb with veg. When the waitress put the plates down in front of us we were horrified. Probably too much information but the lamb looked as if a dog had thrown up on the plates. The portion was very small. There was a very small portion of sweetcorn (obviously from a can), two very small (undercooked) cubes of roasted pumpkin and a small helping of mashed potato which looked as if it had been under a heat lamp or a microwave and was overly dry. That was the sum total of a dish priced at $29.00. To compound the situation, the food was luke-warm and the plates were cold.|I ordered a glass of Chardonnay for my wife only to be told that they had run out of all Chardonnay apart from a small bottle of sparkling Chardonnay. Who runs out of Chardonnay?|Obviously we would never go back to this place and I would advise anybody considering dining there to go elsewhere. It was appalling.

Friendly staff, fast service and fresh delicious meals. Highly recommend for a pub feed! If you have young kids, there is a small indoor playground too which came in handy!

Great food today, seafood very good. Very nice salad and great chips. Great beef party. Good atmosphere, good service( bar a bit slow) but it was busy. Looking forward to our next visit. Very clean.

Just got back from a week stay in the rooms were perfectly cleaned close to everything meals fantastic staff were amazing was there for my sisters wedding. Highly recommend this hotel 💯

I've been staying at the discovery Park next door and have eaten many dinners here over the last 3 months. Not once have I had an issue or bad meal. Service is always lovely, smiley and ready to help. Food is top notch pub grub, parmi, steak, pasta, burgers, specials. You name it and I've probably had it and it's been fantastic. Not many pubs this consistant these days.

We had dinner at this hotel . The squid was tender and my friend’s beef cheeks very enjoyable . Good prices for good quality food . The staff were helpful and friendly .

The food is pretty good pub grub, and the staff are all very friendly.
Clean, reasonably priced rooms with washer and dryer (a great bonus pn the road)
