No better place to wait for loved ones inside the day hospital. Good sandwiches. Breakfast menu looks tempting. Average coffee. Please learn how to make a flat white. I'd prefer the 1/2" of foam on top was coffee, thats why I wanted a flat white. No foam.

I had a disappointing experience at Retreat Cafe, especially while dealing with a health issue. The young barista with dark brown hair was rude when I asked about the burnt, poorly made coffee. Instead of offering support, I was met with passive-aggressive comments and rude looks. It's frustrating to encounter such poor manners in a place that should provide comfort. I won’t be returning and hope the cafe hires more considerate baristas to improve the experience for others.

Had lunch here. They got the coffee orders wrong and then also the lunch orders. They do repeat the order to the customer which is just as well as the girl had them all wrong. It culminated in them forgetting to cook my meal, so it was 2pm and I had no lunch before a meeting I had to leave for immediately. The other meals were quickly made but both of my friends said the meals were not very nice.
