We stayed here just for the night in between going to the Theme Parks For us it was a perfect spot as only 12mins away from Dreamworld and we used it purely to sleep as we were out for big days at the parks! Was a lovely apartment and nice and clean, a few areas such as shower door inset etx could do with a scrub but for the most part was cleaned well Great as had 2 ensuites for the 2 rooms and a carpark It is in Hope Island which has its own set of shops but def need a car to access things Will be back thabk you!

The 3 bedroom apartment was good. The rules and information were poorly written. The drive to get to the apartment was long..
But the place is central to the gold coast and other tourist attractions and there's a shopping centre and pub right next door... that are easier to walk to than drive.

We had 6 nights stay at residences at the peninsula in 3 bedroom apartment for 6 people. They have provided one towel for each of us for 6 days. Two small shampoos and two small shower gels for 5 days for 6 people ( 5 adults and 1 child)and two small sachet of laundry detergent powder.
Cutlery was very basic, no paper towel and no dish washing scrubbing 🧽
Please take a scissors with you too if you want to open the dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent powder sachet.

I will not be staying at this place again.
We booked a stay at the residences at the peninsula and rock up at the gracemere gates. We had no prior information and couldn’t even get into the residence. Security said it wasn’t any of their business and we even were declined in ringing the place. They eventually rang back and the lady barely understood that we did not have a car and couldn’t get in. We were lucky enough the side gate hadn’t been locked properly and could get in but that was completely without her help.
We get to the place and we are met with a $200 deposit. Supposedly we should’ve known about the deposit but nope. Saying they sent an email about it but then in contradiction. told me they didn’t have any of our information…? I got annoyed at the lack of professionalism in helping us get into the building and understanding why we hadn’t been told anything. Not a word about getting there…
Now to the room. The room was spacious yes but was a mere sweep clean. Opened the dishwasher to old dishes that have been there for who knows how long as we put it through the wash 4 times and the grime did not come off. A disgusting red snot looking smere on a lightbulb. Dust everywhere, a broken tv remote, hair in strange places and uncleaned stove tops. (Some of it was just long use scratches and burns but this should be at least scrubbed…)
The curtains were blockout but it was pure light in each side of curtains making it feel like 8am at 5. The noisiness of the road next door also was terrible to sleep through.

Never again.

Apartment was tired and unclean. Marks on the walls and damaged carpet. Dirty fingerprints around light switches and unclean sheets. Rubbish left outside. Swimming pool is a decent drive away from the apartment. Contacted the provider about how unhappy we were with the accommodation and received no response. Would NOT stay again. Gross.

I will never stay at the Residences at the Peninsula again.

While the apartment itself was spacious, new, and clean, nearly every other aspect of our stay was appalling.

The check-in process was confusing and poorly handled. The instructions we received for check-in didn’t even match the building we were supposed to stay in. When we called the after-hours security for assistance, they were rude, intimidating, and entirely unhelpful—making us feel anything but welcome.

The staff were consistently unhelpful and, frankly, rude, despite our multiple requests for assistance.

The parking situation was incredibly inconvenient and honestly absurd. We stayed in a three-bedroom apartment but were only given one parking spot. With two cars, we expected some support from the Peninsula staff, yet they were unwilling to help at all. We ended up having to park our second car *outside* the gated community on a street 1.5 km away. The level of inconvenience and frustration this caused was unbelievable.

The location was also disappointing, with very little nearby to see or do.

Lastly, the photos on the website were misleading. Our apartment didn’t have a water view as advertised; instead, it was situated roadside, overlooking a busy roundabout.

I will absolutely not be recommending this accommodation to friends or family.

Great location for anyone looking to attend the theme parks, play golf on great course nearby or just eat out at many local restaurants. Staff were helpful and being a gated community the safety factory was evident. I will use again when visiting the GC for events. John

Firstly, I was having to text someone by phone number who I could barely understand, and then double check for someone to send me after hours details, which was in the morning of check in. That afternoon I got another set of details with a different room number and different location. I had to call and the whole process was super confusing. I then arrived at said location after picking the key up from somewhere else, and the address was completely wrong, it was only for the photos on the garage, that helped me find the parking garage, so I presumed if I parked there, I could get up into an elevator, and find my room.
Room was much smaller than in the photos.
I also was in a room with B on the end - #59B for example, and I had someone dropping my car off one day, but the intercom that was 20 minutes walk away, so they needed to drive it through, but there was no option for them to press B, for my room number, so I had to knock on my neighbours door and ask if they could accept the intercom. Very poor service.
