Even though we were there in school holidays and the park was full we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moonee Beach. The facilities were modern and clean and the close proximity to the beach makes for quick and easy access. There is plenty of open green spaces to walk your pooch. The dog friendly pub is a 10 minute “stagger” away with an amazing outdoor child play area. There is a coffee van on the foreshore car park which is handy for the early morning caffeine fix. Overall a great holiday park in a pristine location.

This is a fantastic caravan park in a beautiful location. It’s got everything you want, lovely staff, great views, terrific shopping centre just up the road and a great pub next to the shopping centre. The sites are a good size, the facilities are spotless and the camp kitchen is a ripper (views of the water, tea towels and detergent supplied). Brett one of the staff is always friendly and cooks a great sausage, at the sausage sizzle put on by the park. Nothing to fault here. Well done Moonee Beach!

We choose to stay at Reflections Moonee Beach Caravan Park for our family holidays as all our needs are accommodated in the clean fully equipped pet friendly cabins all we have to bring is our food. Moonee Creek is at our doorstep and wonderful to wade in and walk our dogs. Moonee Beach Shopping Centre and Coffs Harbour are only minutes away. Excellent location and facilities for fishing. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely stay again!

They charged me incorrectly then out of the blue said you owe us $2,500. I paid it but now they are saying I’m not welcome back because of payment issue which was not my doing.

I am both surprised and shocked by their attitude and now I’m barred? What?

Did i actually owe them $2,500? Schools out on that one but I was forced to pay and now not welcome back? My behaviour and friendliness was never questioned.

How is it that I’ve been staying with other Reflections Parks nearby and had zero problems?

There is other beautiful places but I must admit the inlet is incredible, safe and absolutely worth a visit.

What is expressed above is just MY experience which was disappointing, entirely not of my doing and now quite offensive (insinuating I’m somehow at fault). Ah how? Please explain?

* Regarding feedback from reflections I have already paid what was owed and being on a disability pension i could not raise $2000 before I left but finished it up months ago after using my tax return to settle it in a $1000 final payment. It was only bought to my attention before leaving that I had been charged the wrong rate or such and living week to week means i didn’t have $2.5k on hand.

I payed as diligently as i could considering my income. As soon as i received my tax return I paid out the remaining $1,000.

I’m really just disappointed that I am not welcome back after getting to know the staff and taking my son to the beach and camping in Moonee Beach.

Lovely park! Close walk to a beach, perfect for little people. Amenities very clean. Shady grassed sites, also sites with concrete pads. Cute little coffee/snacks kiosk on foreshore, and some nights a woodfired pizza van. Staff very friendly. Will come back!

Unfortunately, I am obliged to share the very unpleasant experience we had today at Moonee Beach Reflections.||Around 0900 the morning of checkout day, I approached the front desk and asked the staff if it was possible to have a late check out. The young blond girl who was attending the reception then asked me what time I wanted to check out, to which I replied that I did not know, because my wife was sleeping in, and I wanted to let her have some rest. Still, I told her that if that was not possible, obviously we still would leave no later than the checkout time at 1000. She then replied to me that it was not a busy day, that we could leave whenever and did not give me a checkout time.||At the time I was surprised by this answer, because whenever you ask for a checkout time, they provide you a new checkout time and explain to you that it might incur a fee or a fine, etc. ||Later I got a call from the same staff member, asking at what time we were leaving our cabin because housekeeping had to clean the cabin. As soon as I told her that we were having breakfast outside of the holiday park she lost it. I couldn't even finish my sentence and tell her that we were on our way back already, because she was already very rude and angry, lecturing me that "it was not what we agreed on".||My wife and I then rushed back to the holiday park, opened the cabin so we could get our stuff out and I returned her the keys without saying a word to her. Despite her abusive tone, I never reacted using her same tone. ||About 15min later I was outside of the cabin putting our stuff inside the car, and she appeared, asking why I gave her the keys if we were still there. I then explained that since she was in such a hurry to have the cabin cleaned, we had everything out already, i.e., we rushed so housekeeping could to their job. ||For some unclear reason this upset her even more, using a tone even more rude and aggressive than before, and walked away saying that we were blacklisted from the holiday park, as if we were people with unsocial behaviour, the kind who vandalises the premises, leaves without paying, shoplift items from the front desk, etc. ||It is sad that what was a weekend away that we really enjoyed must be remembered by the very unprofessional behaviour of one of your employees. It was the worst guest/customer service I ever had. ||Had she said "No, no late checkout can be arranged", we would be ok with that. Had she stipulated a checkout time, we would also be happy with that. Had we been informed that we violated the park regulations, and we were supposed to pay a fine, well, shame on us and we would pay the fine and be accountable for our mistakes. ||The icing of the cake is that my wife decided to talk to the park manager about everything that happened, the park manager herself was insisting that I was told that the checkout time was at 1100 when this was absolutely not true at all.||There's no need for us to be blacklisted, I am not going to Reflections Moonee Beach to be mistreated again. ||Yan Carvalho

Spoke several times on phone before our visit , was advised there was direct beach access from the park, and could have a fire. We had called several times to check as we wanted to have a fire plus we had a dog, and wanted access to the beach.
When we arrived receptionist could have smiled, wouldn’t say she was very friendly at all. Was told fires to be lit only in fire places. Was given a map and that was it
Most fire places were BBQs not fire pits.
Found the beach access, only it was gated off. Why tell people you have access, even your web site still shows beach access, needs to be updated to temporarily closed off until further notice.
Thumbs up for amenities they were neat and clean . Was nice views from the reserve.
Had 4 nights booked , probably would of left sooner, except I’d already lost money from bringing my booking forward one day , in doing that actually made my stay cheaper tho no refund was given, would I stay there again most likely not.
For young families I’d say yes it’s good, the kids can go run out on the sand at low tide.

Oh wow we found paradise when we stayed here. The location was amazing and staff were so friendly and great with our kids including our daughter who was bleeding everywhere after cutting her foot on a barnacle. They were great and so caring.
The doggy wash they have on site was an added bonus for our beach loving dog .
The tavern down the road was also good and dog friendly ? - can’t wait to stay again
