Looks like a great location for a few nights of camping, or even staying in a caravan.
The closest fuel station appears to be in Somerton.
Likely to be good for fishing. I would recommend the use of a kayak for easier access to the lake for fishing, unless the lake fills higher, or the use of a 4WD in tandem with a boat trailer. Boat ramps do not have any functioning floating platforms. Apparently, it's been that way for the past two years.
If you are going to be hiring a cabin during winter, there are blankets available and a top sheet, but it is best to bring something extra warm.

I have been going to Keepit for 30 years. It was once a great place to go with kayak & tinny hire, bbqs and shelters right along with gas, a well equipped kiosk for peoples convenience. Lately all that's gone. Even the bbqs there are usually out of gas. We pay a $15 entry. Please get it together. There's a kids water park. Big plus, if you have toddlers. I'd love to see the old Keepit back!!

We had a great stay in this beautiful location. Amenities and grounds were clean and well maintained.
We were made to feel welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I'm definitely returning and would highly recommend.

Nice place to relax. Staff was very helpful. Be aware (temporary caution), theres a swooping magpie around unpowered sites, from about site 17 upward toward end of road (Sept'24). Staff was happy for me to move to another site. All else was good. The magpie has no reflection on my rating. To me, 3stars is good?, (5 stars is awesome, best place youve ever been, and cant stop raving about). Too many people these days giving fake stars. Be real people... its a sliding scale: 1star means you absolutely hated it, 5stars is it was so incredible you were in tears and wanna break out into song of how beautiful it is. Most peoples 5 is really a 3.

Brilliant spot, unpowered van sites are large and easy to access, back onto the lake, it's quite low at the moment but still a great spot, amenities are clean, plenty of space to move around, can recommend, we will be back

Such an awesome location I wish I could have stayed longer. The lake was so close and dogs loved it.

Reception gave me a so called site I could drive through. Well it wasn’t whatsoever but the size I had was lovely with a view of the lake easy to get into still and could remain hitched up.

If you don’t want power you can have an amazing lakefront site

I wasn’t the only one so other caravans having to turn around and friends to as there is no sign for caravan park turn off to reception and gps takes you down the road. Thankfully in set places you can turn around

Absolutely loved the location and the lake was beautiful, however I definitely recommend using your own van as the cabin accommodations were sub par at best, which is a shame because all else is great. I've never actually stayed anywhere so unclean and in poor condition before. We will go back. But definitely will be taking the van!
