We stayed here over Xmas in summer. Aircon in the room didn’t work. They came to fix it but improvement. Wifi was awful. Tech and kitchen Utensils etc were all cheap and nasty. Feels as though the owner has spent as little as possible to fit the place out. Which is fine but when laying $6k per week you’d expect more.

We were verbally abused by a groundsman when our daughter spilt popcorn and when I gave feedback to the management about the room they dismissed me and said “well I wasn’t aware of that”.

Disappointing.

Stayed in tower two 1303, views are outstanding. Unit large and well appointed. Well maintained gym, sauna, steam room, pool, spa and residents lounge. Wish I could stay permanently.

Let me start by saying we have stayed here around 15 times over the past 10 years.
This is the first time I have been disappointed in our room.
We stayed in room 906 in Tower 2 and it’s obvious the owners have not put any love into their apartment.
Cheap furniture, stains everywhere, rust and broken furniture, wires hanging out of walls.
This is definitely the worst room we have stayed in, what’s also disappointing is I emailed management about this room 5 days ago and no reply back.
After over 10 years of loving staying here, we have booked Mantra for next year.

This is my first bad review. We stayed in a sky room over Xmas / new year, cost a grand a night. The air condition was not working from day one. This is a crucial requirement at this time of the year and especially for a holiday. The onsite Maitenace guy check it out and said both times that it was working. This bought them a couple of days. In frustration i checked it out my self and showed them the video footage of the condenser trying to start and screaming its head of and immediately cutting out. The unit was so old (compared to the two units next to it) and obviously needed replacing way before we got there. Reception and management now excepted that it needed a new unit and that it would get looked at after the public holidays (the day we were leaving). I bought a 5kw mobile unit which helped not wreak a great holiday in a great location. My wife sent a letter to management asking for an explanation and a discount for our next stay (not a refund). To date this letter has never been acknowledged or replied. We booked direct, maybe an intermediate would be better option so they can get a better result / compensation/ rooms kept in better repair.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. Room 906, mould on the ceilings and blinds, vents full of dust, bathrooms disgusting with orange build up and white calcified shower screen, balcony door doesn’t lock and around balcony edges had thick dirt, ensuite door doesn’t close, couches and dining chairs dirty/stained, and my goodness I think a pebble crete concrete floor would have been more comfortable to sleep on than those beds, so hard and uncomfortable. My boys tried the pull out sofa which had a plastic cover still and found this more comfortable than the beds but underneath the black lining is so old it’s falling to bits.
The only positive I have about our stay is the view from the balcony and convenient location.
We unfortunately won’t be returning to Reflections. I wish I checked the reviews before booking as it appears we’re not the only ones to pay all this money and be let down.

I just spent the first hour of my first day back to work listening to my co-worker describe the worst and most incredibly rude service I have ever heard of.

To be accused of trying to leave without paying, to be blocked in the car park, all because of their own banking issue is bad enough. To then offer no apology when proof of payment was shown is just ridiculous!

What a waste of a good building in a good location! I will be sharing her story far and wide!

I will take a hard pass on this mob, and they should consider a clean out on their on site management!

Another fabulous stay at Reflections on the Sea. Staff, as always very professional and helpful. Room was amazing - very clean (and cleaned once during our 10 day stay) had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Reflections on the Sea positioned in a magical spot - you wake up to the sounds & stunning view of the ocean every day, just across Marine Parade and you’re on the beach. Very close to shops, restaurants & local amenities. I can’t fault this amazing place & look forward to booking our next visit to Reflections on the Sea very soon.
