Jenny was great! She helped us out with a lovely room at a great rate when we found ourselves in a tight spot last week.
The room was clean, spacious and well equipped with appliances and all kitchen utensils. Really comfortable beds and couch. Netflix included with the television which was nice for us on evenings we wanted to chill out.
Secure parking was also provided on site and clean towels and linens were provided for us.
Great location too as we were within 10-20 minutes of all the excursions we had booked.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Cairns!

I booked this apartment through a friend's recommendation for an 8 days stay. Location was great and walking distance to shops & restaurants. Provision of shower and laundry amenities made it so homely, definitely suit short or long term stays.

Two bedroom apartment is air conditioned, clean and comfortable - white bed sheets, plenty of pillows and bath towels. Laundry facilities and generous kitchen area in the apartment, with a large fridge. Wi-Fi and latest technology for streaming to the TV plus in-room amenities make for a pleasant stay.||Short walk to Cairns central cafes for coffee or breakfast, many restaurants and pubs for lunch and dinner are close by. Arrange a day trip to enjoy the many family friendly attractions around Cairns.||Walk or ride along the foreshore Esplanade to the lagoon and marina. Across the road to medical and health facilities.

If your looking for a nice safe accommodation to stay at. Reef Gateway is one I would highly recommend. For weeks we were communicating with Royce when the Cairns floods impacted our travel from NT but Royce made everything less stressful and easy to change our dates and he and the team went above and beyond for us. We booked 2 x 2 bedroom ground floor apartments. It's lovely, clean and fresh with added complimentary snacks on arrival. Close to everything and was lovely air-conditioned apartments with good cooking facilities, fridge, washing machine to make our stay feel like home. |Thanks Royce and team we will be sure to book again when we have another big holiday. My family and I arrived very late at night and not having booked due to change of location forced by a medical issue.
Royce was extremely accommodating and helpful finding us an apartment for the night. Nothing was too much trouble and he even supplied us with food items to tide us over for the night.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Royce and Jenny for looking after my family while I had an extended unexpected stay in hospital following the birth of our second child. It was a stressful time for us but Royce and Jenny went out of their way to accommodate us and nothing was too much trouble. Even buying us a gift for our new baby girl. Their kindness during this time will not be forgotten. We chose it for the close proximity to the hospital but also the added advantage of being close to Muddy's playground and the lagoon which kept our 3 year old entertained during the stay. Highly recommend 🫶

We were stranded in Cairns during the floods. Manager and staff were absolutely wonderful. They made sure we were safe and offered help with anything including a discount if we had to stay again. They came to the room and offered extra bottles of water and a box of chocolate cookies (free). When we departed they again offered bottles of water and a safe trip.
