What a delight to stay here.
I chose to break up my trip to Brisbane and this was perfect.
Quiet beautiful solitude. Space was clean, tidy and had all the amenities you could ask for. Even an electric frypan hiding in the cupboard which I did not use as cook free holiday thank you.
Tried to book again but booked out.
Will definitely come back.

Chose to stay here for the Goomeri pumpkin festival as everywhere else was booked out. Redgate is about a 15min drive to the festival so not a long trip. In the middle of nowhere and so quiet.
There are 6 cottages all with individual undercover parking. There are 3 sets of 2 cottages. Cottage then 2 covered parking bays and then cottage so no adjoining walls.
There is a double bed and a set of bunks, table with 4 chairs, small open hanging area for clothes,AC. Walk into the small kitchenette area which has microwave and small fridge. The usual kettle etc and they supplied tea coffee and milk. The only cooking utensils is a frypan. Off this room is the bathroom with a couple of toiletries supplied.
Bed was comfy and warm there was also a separate blanket if you got cold.
Because they do not have internet and on our phones no cell reception it was so nice just to sit on the verandah with a glass of wine watching the sunset and chatting without the interruptions. Just the best.
Would stay here agin if visiting the area.
Forgot to mention there a several wineries within a 5 min drive from the cottages.

Going thru the motions for accom in Murgon I found this place listed. I drove past....it's overgrown and surrounded by strands of barbed wire. No sign of life. I don't believe it's operational at present. It actually looks deserted.
