I’m extremely disappointed with the owners (Aziz and Sharif) of the Red Rose Function at Rockdale.

My family and I have been treated poorly with disrespect and experienced ill mannered behaviour from Aziz after we tried many times requesting for a refund for my cancelled Reception party which was supposed to occur on Saturday, 20th of April 2024. I initially contacted Aziz on August 2023 and proceeded with the booking of their function centre. Due to personal reasons, in December 2023 I cancelled my booking and was advised, and shown on their website that they can only provide me an 80% refund after the date of the booking. It’s been 6 months and I have not received anything. The owners ignore our phone calls and messages. I’ve been robbed/scammed by supposed Hajj performers who cheat and are full of lies.

I’ve asked my family and friends to refrain from this business, and I ask you to do the same.

Centre is located in CBD, near to rail-bus stations and close to major roads.
It's Behind 7 eleven, mosque just across the road. Parking available around side-streets; free during evening pick time. Centre is medium one with wide open entry and main hall. Stairs are steep, toilets are in another floor!

And the coke and the lemonade was also worst

Very good catering service and the function hall was big enough for 100 people. Very good music system and well managed .

It’s a great place for birthday or anniversary celebrations. However toilet facilities is a little inconvenient as it’s on different floor. Parking is definitely a big issue. There’s no nearby parking available at all. Overall food, decoration and staffing is quite well.

The centre has developed since I visited last time. There are few things that can make an impact - access for parents with prams, parking facility, food serving on time. I would recommend the centre to focus on these things on a priority basis and hope to see an improved centre shortly.
