Due to rain and road closures we needed one nights accommodation in Cloncurry. This motel was a great last minute booking. The room was spotless and the room airy and comfortable. The owner was run off her feet trying to keep very thing running smoothly with staff shortage and wet weather. Would stay again.

Very lucky to find this motel.. firstly it's not located on main highway with trucks passing all night long!! Plus it is solidly built in concrete block, sound proofing is brilliant.. massive high ceilings, the biggest air con unit I have ever seen in a motel unit! Owner manager delightful happy easy going.. felt like a home away from home. Very comfortable large bed, large shower area and bathroom with loads of hot water.. overall a wonderful modern motel to stop over for a night or few days when in Cloncurry! Prices were also very good for what's on offer!! Ten outa ten Red Rock, would not hesitate to stay here again.. plus nice hotels within walking distance, safe as!!

Great place to stay on our way through Outback Qld. We had a massive room for 2x Adults and 1x dog...it was really great to be able to have a pet friendly room with air con after the hot day of travelling. The mattresses were the best we've slept on on our travels...very firm and felt like almost new. It was nice to relax and be able to use the foxtel provided. Definitely feels like the owner has invested time and money to make this place great. Sharon was very accomodating and we felt safe staying here.

From the outside it looks nothing special but inside you will find very clean rooms, cold aircon and the staff are so helpful and friendly!!! If you heading through for a night or two, you can’t go past this great little motel!!

Stayed at the Red Rock Motel in Cloncurry for a few nights. I was surprised by the standard of the room that I was in. It was quite large, well laid out and overall just suited me just fine. The manager (Sharon) was very helpful. The motel is well located to the local restaurants, supermarket and pubs. Pretty quiet location and lots of off-street parking. Worth a stay and it is reasonably priced too.

The motel is dated, however, the room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and with microwave, fridge & kettle|and use of a laundry for $4.00 we extended our stay from 2 to 3 days. Sharon, the manager, was extremely friendly and helpful and the motel was conveniently located in the centre of town but in a quiet spot. It's across the road from The Wagon Wheel Motel, Restaurant, can highly recommend a meal there.|

Red Rock Motel epitomizes Cloncurry - Clean and friendly. I loved staying there in the spotless spacious rooms. Sharon was the perfect host, going out of her way to make my Cloncurry holiday one I shall treasure. When I revisit the Curry, Red Rock Motel will be my first choice.

Last minute booking. Friendly staff at reception , clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price. Very quite area, easy to find off the Main Street. Would highly recommend if not looking for 5 star hotel.
