Ravella is an incredible space and the owners and staff are so accommodating. The captivating space is the perfect backdrop for any event and the space made our first look for our wedding so special. As a wedding celebrant, I have seen a great deal of venues and nowhere as unique and magical as Ravella, it is unlike any other space or venue I have seen. If you are looking for a versatile space with a feeling of grandeur and flair look no further. The staff are amazing and food was delicious! I will recommend Ravella to every couple!

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Ravella for our wedding day. From start to finish, everything about the venue and the team was absolutely incredible. The space itself is breathtaking – a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern elegance. The balance of historic beauty and contemporary design gave the venue a unique, timeless feel that was just perfect for our celebration. But what really made our experience special was the amazing team behind it all.

No request was ever too much, and the staff made everything feel effortless. From the planning stages to the big day itself, they were so easy to deal with. The communication was clear, quick, and always professional. The team truly went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life, and on the night of the wedding, they made us feel completely at ease. Everyone was so happy, helpful, and always on top of things – it made the entire evening run seamlessly.

One of the things that made Ravella stand out was how the three distinct spaces within the venue brought such a dynamic energy to our day. Each space added its own vibe, and it kept the energy flowing and exciting throughout the entire event. From the ceremony to the reception and everything in between, the venue’s layout kept things fresh and added to the overall atmosphere of the celebration.

The entire planning process with Ravella was so smooth, and we are beyond grateful for their team’s attention to detail and commitment to making our wedding day perfect. The new owners of Ravella are just simply incredible. The venue is newly renovated and looks absolutely stunning - our guests absolutely loved the drama of the curtains and the surprise dance floor at the back!

All of the staff were incredibly thoughtful, attentive and helpful on the day and super quick to action any requests! Alfie's catering was to die for - our guests were raving about the food!

Special thanks to Taylah for going above and beyond not just on the day but the weeks and months leading up. She thought of absolutely everything and made sure that all the little details were covered. We felt so calm (as much as you can on your wedding day) in her hands!

From start to finish the Ravella team were excellent communicators, easy to work with, and very helpful and accommodating. They really know what goes into operating a great wedding venue and you will not regret having your wedding with them!

Ravella was everything we wanted in a venue, relaxed, beautifully designed, and the perfect backdrop for our day. From our first visit right through to the wedding, everything felt easy and well thought out. I will mention on the day of our wedding, we had wild weather, wind, rain, the lot! But Ravella is so thoughtfully laid out that we barely noticed what was happening outside. It meant we could fully enjoy the moment without any stress, which we’re so thankful for.

A massive thank you to Tay & the fabulous team, who were calm, professional, and genuinely lovely to work with. Tay was across every detail, always available when we had questions, and made the whole planning process feel seamless. On the day, she made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed or forced. We’re so grateful for her support, it made all the difference. We wish we could get married at Ravella every single day!!!!

I wish I could give this venue more than 5 stars. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew this was where we had to get married.

The staff at Ravella are amazing. So much industry knowledge. They have created a space that is so magical and thought out. And to top it off they’ve got Alfie’s as caterers!!! We had so many compliments on the food at our wedding. So many compliments about how great the staff were on the night.

There is not a single thing I would change about our wedding and it wouldn’t have been possible without this amazing venue and its staff. Highly highly highly recommend this venue. A perfect place for a wedding

When on the hunt for a wedding venue, my now husband and I could simply NOT look past Ravella. Yes, we loved that the Ravella team had lovingly restored an iconic heritage building in inner-city Newcastle, but it was the hospitality that immediately sold us (special thanks to Sam who is a living legend). The Ravella team were there every step of the way, and never made me feel silly for asking objectively silly questions! Paddy and I are so, so grateful we were able to lock in Ravella for our special day. Oh, and did I mention the food?!?!!? Ahh. Alfies is amazing. We are forever thankful, and can't recommend Ravella highly enough for your next event or wedding. Thanks team!!!

As a wedding florist who has worked at this venue for many years before it was recently taken over I am in absolute awe of the transformation of this space.
The investment the Ravella team has put into restoring and celebrating the character and story of such a beautiful building and the respect, intention and consideration of the future events to be held here.
Every single detail has been thought of with so much care and it really shows when you attend events held here (It's now my favourite place to frequent for long lunches, wedding and engagement celebrations and live music), from the light filled atrium to the dramatic draping and even the fancy bathrooms (we love a fancy bathroom).
A refreshing, iconic and incredibly special venue that Newcastle is so proud to have.
