We stayed in their 2-bedroom unit with my family. The rooms were clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. However, the hot and cold water in the shower wasn’t working properly, and there were some pencil marks on the walls. On the positive side, the kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, which was convenient. We also appreciated the flexibility with the checkout time—they allowed us to check out at 11 AM instead of the usual 10 AM. Thanks for that!

Room was dated but spacious. Provisions in room were very basic. We were given complementary fruit (2 apples, and 1 orange), plus ear plugs due to construction work outside the room which we didn’t know about before booking in (and probably why the room was so inexpensive). Room was clean but had overpowering smell of cleaning products. Floor in bathroom was a bit sticky.

Disappointing and deceptive behaviour from this hotel,
At no point during booking or check in was I made aware of the construction noise coming from next door. Apart from hearing this on check in and then the poorly written notice and the feeble effort of a packed of ear plugs left on the table once I entered the room,
I checked out a day early and there was no effort made to refund the extra night, or any attempt at customer retention. I would not stay here again and nor would I recommend anyone stay here.

Rooms are dated, but they are big with plenty of space and the beds and pillows comfortable. The service from reception is always positive and willing to help with any issues or requests needed. Location is fantastic with plenty of restaurants, cafes, markets and Westfield walking distance from the hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing and concerning due to an issue with missing belongings. After a two-night stay, we realized upon checking out that we had forgotten a brand-new pair of sandals in the bathroom. We immediately contacted the hotel and even returned in person, but the receptionist claimed that the cleaner found nothing. This is simply not true, as the sandals were definitely left in the bathroom.

Adding to the frustration, on our second day, our room was not properly cleaned. While towels were replaced, no other cleaning was done. This indicates that someone entered the room but failed to complete their duties, raising serious questions about staff integrity.

The fact that belongings can go missing under such circumstances is alarming. It makes guests feel unsafe, knowing that staff with room access might not act with honesty. While it was "just sandals" this time, it leaves us wondering what could be taken next.

I strongly urge the management to address this issue, improve their protocols, and ensure the security and trustworthiness of their staff. This experience has completely eroded our trust in this hotel, and we cannot recommend staying here until significant improvements are made.

I stayed there for my first trip to Canberra. The room was a decent size with a queen bed and all the necessary amenities. They do have room service available.
The location is convenient for first-timers since it is near the Westfield shopping centre and surrounding cafes.
There was chemist nearby, which was quite helpful too.

Best part of this hotel is the coffee machine in the foyer. Looks waaaay better in the images. Stinks of cigarettes and mould. Rooms are more basic than a cheep motel. Would have preferred a pub hotel.

We booked this room for a night as a stop over on our way to Sydney. Room is pretty basic but large (in the past we stayed at Ibis Budget which is really small so I'm surprised that this one has a pretty large space despite the price). We just paid around 140 AUD for a night. We had a comfortable stay... Only negative is they don't have a remote to the tv so my son was not able to use it.

Oh, btw if you're arriving late, you should notify reception as they close early so special arrangements need to be made.
