This property has the friendliest and most helpful staff. Nothing is too difficult, every whim catered for. The rooms are perfect for a family and the proximity to the the pool was fantastic for relaxing while the children swam. The restaurant and reception staff were lovely to deal with, nothing was a problem and all needs were catered to. Wish we stayed longer! Thank you!

I stated at the Ramada for two nights when I was in Hervey Bay for a trip to Fraser Island. Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay. The hotel location is located near the esplanade, which is a quiet part of town about 8 km from the CBD, and has a few dining options within walking distance near the boat club. The hotel staff were all friendly upon arrival, the hotel room I was in was reasonably modern / well maintained (but your expectations should be set at "regional Australia hotel quality" and not "major city hotel quality"), and it has a on-site pool / restaurant (there was also a tiny 'gym' but it did not really have anything other than a cardio machine and some small weights). There was on-site parking, but the spaces were small and filled up very quickly when I was there (I didn't have trouble parking, but did find myself getting the final free space a couple of times). I had no real complaints about the place and would happily stay there again.

Really good location for exploring the Hervey bay area and reslly close to the Harbour for a fantastic day trip across to Fraser Island. Great breskfasts. Staff very helpful and the evening Bar food was very tasty. Really enjoyed our 3 nights and the Pool outside of our patio area was a bonus.

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. Absolutely horrendous experience.
Checked in around 7:45pm and was told by the female receptionist about
parking: if there is no parking spot available, there is an overflow parking at the back.
restaurant: there are no restaurants in the area, and I should eat at the hotel restaurant, but it closes at 8:30pm.
I drove my car to the garage and - surprise - no parking spot. I tried to exit the garage to "find" the mentioned overflow car park, but the garage door didn't open. Luckily, there has been another person in the car park, and he had the same problem with finding a spot. Therefore, he parked in a disabled spot. He ran up to the reception, came back telling me that first; to exit the garage you have to drive over a yellow button on the ground (?) and second, we are allowed to park in a disabled spot (if we find one). So why didn't the receptionist tell me that!!! Anyway, found a disabled spot and parked the car. Now it was already after 8pm and remember the restaurant closes at 8:30. I rushed around, after a whole day driving, to get to the hotel restaurant at 8:20pm BUT being told the kitchen is closed! WHAT? I couldn't believe it - I was so hungry and tired. Anyway - I asked for an exemption, but all I got was a bowl of hot chips with cheese grated over it. Little side note: After check-out the charged me $34 for it, and I'm still waiting on the invoice/refund. The outside sitting area was covered in black mould and at 8am housekeeping started knocking on doors. All in all, very disappointing experience! Still waiting to hear back from the hotel management. Wouldn't recommend at all!!!!!!

We stayed here for 1 night. Good location for our Fraser Island Tour and secure parking. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean but a bit dated. Went to their restaurant for dinner - service was slow despite it being almost empty. It was great that breakfast was included and there was a good choice but quality was below average.

The rooms are no good if you’re working from them. The lighting is dull a there’s only a tiny lamp over the desk and the wifi is terrible!
There’s no information in the rooms for wifi password or room service offerings.
Good for families though!
I have to say that the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a motel

This is about the 10th time I have been to Hervey Bay and decided to give Ramada a go. Being a four star hotel, unfortunately, I did not have the feel of one. The studio room was clean and spacious with really cold aircon, which was great. Whilst it was spring where the temperatures were quite cooling, with the room facing the road, it was not possible to open the balcony door due to the road noise. Even when the balcony door was closed, the road noise could be heard at night. Additionally, the room doors had to be closed quite hard and hence one could hear the room doors closing by the neighbours which could be startling at times. The bed was comfortable, slightly firm but sufficiently soft. The television was of a decent size which was great as some hotels have annoyingly small televisions. There was ample space for luggages and a good sized study table. However, there was mould in the shower and one of the bath towels was full of blue ink despite being freshly laundered. The two reception staff I experienced over the three nights were friendly and nice. The underground carpark is really tiny with very limited car parking available and hence you might have to park by the road outside the hotel, especially if you return past 8/8.30pm. The gym was small with a treadmill, bike and a weights station. Overall, an alright stay but I expected better as a four star hotel.

We had to cut our stay short, we requested a refund and received it. I’d like management to know the two young girls at the front counter handled it very professionally and were amazing to deal with. Thank you for understanding our situation and for your great response.
