We stayed in this caravan park for 6 months. The new caretakers were amazing, the cleaned up the park all the time of branches, rubbish (hard) nothing was ever an issue.
Rates for caravan park were nice and reasonable, we had a big site with awesome neighbours.
Toilet block is old but functional
Nil issues staying there at all.
If we were to go back to the Sunshine Coast would certainly stay at this park again

Have traveled all around Australia with our van, unfortunately this van park has been the worst!! So much potential but seriously neglected, toilets blocked constantly? Paid for 7 nights only stayed 3 never bothered to ask for a refund didn’t see the Managers during the duration, van site was the remains of an old building concrete slab was split level!! Extremely disappointing

Had a great stay at Rainforest holiday village, clean amenities and nice camp kitchen to chill. Close to Cole’s and Aldi and not far from Maroochydore, beaches and hinterland areas.
Met owner of business who was friendly and spoke to managers at pool area who were good with advice on what to do locally! Lots of shade and tonnes of lizards and bush turkeys. Will be back one day again.

New owners have kicked out old maintenance man who always kept the grounds tidy and rubbish bins delivered back so we could dispose of rubbish. I’m a long term tenant and would have appreciated notification about new owner's but it is what it is. There are no birds in the cages anymore. Maybe last owner took them but it was nice having birds there for new people to visit. Laundry room no longer has operating washing machines so you have to take it elsewhere. Very inconvenient. Grateful that the old owner let me and my son stay here as housing is difficult to attain. Overall, place is kid friendly as many families live here. Well wishes to the old landlord and management. Hoping new owners will do better or at least be on par.

A long way below par. Filthy amenities and in bad need of a facelift everywhere. The only positive is a good location. Don’t believe a word from this website.could not recommend to any traveller.Management were no where to be seen.|This is not a holiday park at all.

Unfortunately not a place for families. We wish we had been told that this campsite was not child friendly before booking. Many elderly people live here (we did not know this) and do not tolerate any noise whatsoever. Some extreme religious people also live here and accosted me in the kitchen about wanting a wife!! We stayed over the long weekend and our children were just being kids - excited to use the pool and park and we were abused for them making noise between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Our dog accidentally got off her leash and walked 2 meters in front of us in which we ran after her and leashed her immediately. The manager aggressively told me that if it happened again he would put her in the pound and said he will be watching us on his “cameras”. I was crying and apologising profusely but he was rude, smug and unwilling to have a civil conversation over a very minor incident. I also approached the other campers and apologised for the children making noise. Many were good about it and appreciated the gesture but many also explained that this is not a place for kids and they don’t want any noise at all. I understand this but it’s up to management to notify people of this before booking. Due to the hostility, religious nuts telling us we will go to hell if we don’t repent and requesting wife “duties”, and being completely in child friendly, we felt we had no choice but to leave. They are refusing to refund us for the nights we couldn’t stay which is their prerogative but displays an attitude and business practice of poor customer service. Internet did not work either. I gave two stars because the Bush land is pretty, does have all facilities needed for a budget stay and would suit a very quiet single person. I have camped and hiked in many different place with and without children and this is the worst treatment I have ever come across. We did everything we could to contain our children and unfortunately they spent most of the time on screens inside our camper as we were all afraid of the people running the place and our beloved pet being taken away.
EDIT: Refund finally given but the response to our review and experience is an utter lie.

We booked two nights at the park. We arrived to a very tight site with water and mud all around it. We noticed a lot of permed ants and felt eyes on us from the permanents that we were not welcome. One woman walk past clearly off her face having no idea where she was. We were there ten mins, went into town, which was also awful, dark and unwelcoming. Decided we didn’t feel safe, we wouldn’t leave out a blade of grass! Packed up and went to bli bli caravan park, it’s fabulous. Waiting our refund from the rainforest. Very old, dary and tight parking.

I stayed here for 4 nights in early February, we rang the park in evening and got a spot for the next day. large sites to accommodate most big caravans, it was easy check in system, pool was crystal clear and amenities were spotless, new manager was friendly and informative about the local area. Palm trees everywhere and so much birds. Located walking distance to Nambour to supermarkets and shops and also 15 or so minutes to central Maroochydore where we went to cotton tree beach and Alexander beach surf club for dinner, on the 2nd night we went to Woombye pub which is close to the park. Great pub with nice food. So nice ? we will return, thank you. C#
