Every single aspect of this cafe just gave me life. The coffee, the food: amazing. The white chocolate mocha cheesecake: literally life-changing, the vibe: immaculate. A cottage-core dream in the middle of Ipswich. Amazing. 10/10 recommend.

I love having breakfast at Rafter and Rose every so often, and it never disappoints! Each visit has been incredible. I always order the Eggs Benedict, and it’s consistently amazing—perfectly poached eggs, delicious hollandaise, and all the right flavors. The presentation of the food is stunning, making each dish a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.

The staff are so friendly and attentive, adding to the overall warm atmosphere of the cafe. Best laneway coffee shop I've been to. Great atmosphere. Witty and insightful quotes , Native Bee hive, Good balance of historical importance and new age skill. Lovely food and even better staff.

Quaint little place with a beautiful little lane way. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Enjoyed a chicken sandwich on Turkish with this delicious pineapple jam and a house made iced Caramel latte - thanks guys I’ll be back

Have been twice. The first was amazing - great food and atmosphere. The big breakfast was brilliant - fresh and generous. Went back a few months later and waited an hour for food and it wasn't as good.

Went today: We dined at 7:00am on a Saturday morning. There were lots of tables available.
The atmosphere was very pleasant - many healthy plants and interesting pieces of furniture.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The menu was extensive and the food was hot and well prepared. It arrived quickly and was delicious.
The Big Breakfast was exceptional - great tastes and plentiful.
There were lots of attractive vegan and vegetarian options.
Both the lunch and breakfast (both are all day) were great.
