As an avid tea and matcha fan, this is by far my favourite spot in Wagga. Everything is homemade - even syrups and tea blends! The atmosphere is amazing and the variety of seating areas is awesome.

Found this quaint Tea shop in Wagga Wagga on Sturt Highway near the base hospital by chance. I was blown away by the variety of teas Corinna has. It was more like an education. I wish I had more time to learn about the endless varieties. Tried the matcha waffle and matchalicious and both were excellent. I went back and then had matcha latte. Corinna even showed me how to make it. Absolutely brilliant. If the location were a little better with more foot traffic, one would never find even standing room. The business needs more visibility and a good banner outside the shop would be a good addition.

We were lucky to have our good friend Jan arrange a morning catchup visit at R TEA. Not only was it fun seeing Jan since before Christmas, we introduced to a fabulous cafe with an amazing menu. R TEA has a huge range of teas and tea accessories available, it’s quite mind blowing. Corinna is a fabulous host and gave us fantastic information on the teas. We had a lemony ginger tea, a Matcha milk shake, a Blondie and Waffles with Matcha ice cream, chantilly cream, strawberries and a honey syrup🧋🤤🧇😋🍵 I’m also going to buy some of the Chai powders as I’ll use 1️⃣ as a dry rub for smoking chicken breasts and 1️⃣ for a brisket. We left absolutely satiated and with two teas, as well as some little Earl Grey Tea biscuits 🍪 Everything about R TEA screams excellence, well done Corrina and thank you Jan for sharing this wonderful cafe.

Absolutely fantastic experience at R Tea! The matcha here is next level and the only place I’ve found in Wagga to have proper matcha!!! There are also a bunch of other delicious drinks on offer! I had the ham and cheese toastie with gluten free bread and it was the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be coming back!

R Tea is hands down my favourite place in all of Wagga. The beautiful ambiance, warm and friendly customer service and delicious teas and snacks cannot be over stated! It is my favourite place to study and escape from the stress of day to day life. Highly recommend!
