I would like to express my thank you so so much to RR Hire for the party hire for an event. Jillanne was just amazing!!! So attentive and responsive to emails/phone calls etc and she made the whole experience smooth and easy, Offering me alternatives or different ideas, just made the world of difference. I’d also like to thank the chaps who erected the Marquee and dropped off all the other party equipment, it was pouring down with rain all day and these guys just did a fantastic job! Can’t recommend RR Hire more and I will be definitely be using them for any future events. Thanks Jillanne!! Your attentiveness and promptness made the world of difference.

Hired a slushy machine for Saturday night party. Best price for weekend hire. I opted to have it delivered and picked up which obviously upped the cost but well worth it for me. Amazing service. Jillanne is great, really accommodating, worked in with my day. Highly recommend.

• Communication: Much room for improvement.
I was promised a call before delivery, received an email instead. As a result, the delivery driver arrived unannounced. Are you seriously thinking I check my emails when I am expecting a call? You claimed to have called my mobile, but I hadn’t answered it! Fact is that my mobile shows not one single missed call on 16-11-24.
Suggestion: simply send a text message.
Your delivery driver asked to see my driver’s license to check and confirm my identity and residential address which I understand. I still maintain that writing down the numbers on the driver’s license (despite my protest) instead of just confirming that I am who I am and that I live where I said I live, is totally unnecessary and an invasion of privacy. I felt treated like a criminal and the driver’s tone was bordering on intimidation. That you then threatened me on the phone you will order him to leave with all goods unless I comply really takes the cake.
Suggestion: Implement a fully refundable hire good deposit.
• R & R Hire Services internal communication: Poor. The driver wasn’t informed that I had paid in full when I placed the order.
• Cleanliness of equipment: Room for improvement. Several unclean glasses which prompted you to exchange the lot, thank you. Some chairs were stained. Some boxes containing the glasses were dusty. The eskies appeared worn-out and dirty on the outside. Having to deal with all of this and having had to clean the dirty chairs isn’t what one needs on an already busy day. It kind of defeats the purpose of hiring supposedly clean equipment. You demand all items be returned clean; I expect the same when you deliver goods.
• Condition and appearance of equipment: Room for improvement. One glass had a crack, someone could have cut their lips. The red and white wine glasses and the flutes were of different sizes and shapes, this all together simply doesn’t impress as being dealt with professionally.
• Check for completeness of the delivery: Room for improvement. The beer glasses were missing. The truck had to come again, which was an inconvenience for me and equates to inefficiency on your side. But then, maybe it was sheer luck and the chance to get the dirty glasses swapped.
• Refund and Hire Goods Return Policy: Room for improvement. I expected you to pay the refund for the duplicate charge of the hire goods upon providing my bank account details on Sunday morning. You called me at 7 am on Monday, which was not only an inconvenience but also a disturbance. You informed me that the goods would be picked up within the hour. The refund was not in my account at that time. I called you back, advising that the goods could not be picked up until I received the refund. You said that this was not possible. I offered to accept the remittance advice from your bank. Instead, a copy of the invoice showing payment and refund was sent. The remittance advice was emailed only after I insisted. I believe I have the right to safeguard myself to get the duplicate hire payment back as much as you have the right to safeguard yourself against people stealing your equipment. It’s a two-way street.
Suggestion: you could have given cash to the driver picking up the goods.
• Receipt for all items returned: Room for improvement. How about instructing your driver that payment has already been made?
Summary: The entire experience with R & R Hire Caboolture was marred by poor communication, unprofessional behaviour, and substandard goods. The company’s approach to customer service was severely lacking, and the handling of the situation left much to be desired. My interaction with R & R Hire Caboolture was a profound disappointment. I can only hope that sharing my experience will prompt you to re-evaluate your customer service practices so that no one else endures such an experience.

This is a GREAT place to hire equipment for any event. The service and people are so lovely and very accommodating. Anytime I want to throw a party I know where to go to grab some amazing equipment. Extremely happy with the service.

I hired a chipper to use in my garden. When I started it it started smoking so I checked to see if the stuff was coming out. Nothing was exiting. I rang and they told me to open the chute and it was so heavy with old waste.
It took two hours for everything to be working properly.
When I went back to return the chipper, the staff were very rude and told me that it had been cleaned. I asked how could it be cleaned when it was full of rubbish? She then accused me of lying . I expected consideration and an apology because this is the second time that this has happened to me with their chippers.I also cut my hand trying to clear the chute!
