We enjoyed our short stay at Quest Canberra! The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were very very friendly and more than happy to help with any of our needs! It’s a great location close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Only complaint was that our shower did over flow, water pressure and temperature was perfect but the seal of the glass let water out the sides and the floor mat was drowning even after a quick shower. Over all we enjoyed our stay in Canberra!

Stayed at Quest Canberra for a business trip. Great location, fast check-in, and clean rooms with strong Wi-Fi and a good workspace. Staff were professional and helpful. Ideal for business travelers and even for families holidays as well—would stay again.

The Quest is located within one of the period building in Canberra and has a quieter more relaxed feel than many other places we looked at. Our room had nice decor and was comfortable with enough space for kitchen and living and separate bedroom

While the location of this hotel is excellent, there's a lot of areas in which they could improve.
Firstly, the mattress in my studio apartment was sagging and in dire need of replacement. Also, the block-out curtains don't do much blocking, which was frustrating when wanting a sleep-in.
Having the washing machine in the room was great however the dryer emitted a concerning burning smell, so I had to dry my clothes the old fashioned way.
Finally, the bathroom wasn't terribly clean - the shower was quite mouldy. The extractor fan also wasn't working.

Our second stay in Canberra. The location is very convenient, yet far enough away from main CBD bustle. As it is situated in the Melbourne Building there are many many fine and varied restaurants right at the hotel front door. This stay (depending on room type) is a home away from home. We stay in a one bedroom apartment with balcony. Highly recommend. Far from the cramped space of other mainstream hotels in the area.

I do not recommend this hotel if they give you the same room we got! There is a pub downstairs that felt like we were directly on top of the speakers. The base was vibrating through the floor. Coupled with the smokers and revellers gathering outside of the pub, which can be heard through the paper thin balcony doors.

The hotel is in a great location, but they really need to address the problem of the pub downstairs.

The room itself was ok, albeit it quite dated. The cleanliness on the other hand is another story. The bathroom felt dirty and there was mould like stains in the shower. The curtains in both the bedroom and living room needed replacing, there’s holes in some parts and they don’t cover the entire window. Light seeps in as soon as the sun comes up, not the best for a sleep in when the music from the pub has kept you up most of the night.

Would I stay again? Definitely not. Videos attached are from the balcony and the bedroom with external doors closed. You can hear the heavy base and lack of sound proofing.
