Worst pub meal I have ever had,The mashes potato isn't real potato it's packet crap,didn't even bother to season it,The vegetables were cooked yesterday you could tell by the look and taste of the broccoli that it wasn't fresh,the only edible thing was the pathetic overcooked piece of meat,When I spoke to the big guy with the beard he was rude and didn't give a shot,I don't blame the cook he is just doing what he is told by using last night's leftovers so they don't have any waste,It's not good enough to charge $34 which I might add was an extra $3 for packet mash,Do better .

So first time I came I waited forever for my steak. Was annoyed but came back the next night for one last go. Very glad I did. Turned out it was a new chef getting the hang of the kitchen. What a cook! Excellent food here by far the best parmigiana I've ever had! Good selection of drinks, lovely staff and the bar managers a champ loves a laugh and has a personality
I look forward to working in Gympie again simply so I can come back here for a good feed and a cold beer.

If you like your food swimming in oil - this is the place to come. My schnitzel was tender - but when you put your fork into the meat - oil oozed out. Same with the daily special battered barra. No wine list offered, best the bartender could offer was a piccolo of Jacob’s Creek.

Staff are friendly. No issue with them but the dinner took 40mins to arrive. From what I could see the "chef" is one of the staff and probably doing everything she can to get orders out so I'm guessing management haven't put enough staff on. The "BBQ wings" are dry wings with BBQ sauce swished over them. Steak is not 300g and a medium cooked steak should not be burned. Won't come here again.

We stopped by soaked from the rain, hungry and in need of somewhere to dry off and eat, but we turned up a minute or two before the kitchen was closing, no problem they took our order and made us welcome which was great, we also both really enjoyed our burgers so thank you very much for everything.
