20ft van. One night stay . Quoted $67 for a powered site. Asked if any non powered (cheaper) no . We were then given a Seniors Discount. Morning shower …. No hot water 😡😡😡. So we effectively paid $61 to park our van for the night . Not happy

We booked our van into Golightly in August 2021 with a tariff day rate of $36.83 for a few days in Feb 2023. By Feb 2023 that had jumped to $56.50 per day. The park is a disgrace with uneven ground, difficult sites to access, and very dusty. Free camping sites would most likely be better. At the rate charged, you would expect a perfect park with grass or fake grass, a central kitchen, and maybe even a BBQ. When questioned I was told to speak to council and then the person just hung up. One central amenities block that was clean thank goodness. The councils in this area do not like pets at all. Best just avoid this park!

Booked a site for 2 days and arrived to find someone had extended their stay and we had to be moved, however provided with options to relocate. Many sites are not level and a lot would be hard to access if the park was fully occupied with many sites currently closed due to dangerous trees.
There is free access for public to walk through the park to the playing fields and for cars to park along those set up around the oval on game days.
Located within walking distance to town
Amenities clean.
We are staying out of peak time and feel it is expensive for what you get - $50 pn for powered site and access to an amenity block.

Enjoyed our stay at the caravan park. We had a unit. It was nice, peaceful and relaxing, with the sounds of the seas.

Enjoyed it so much that we are coming back next year.

Lovely staff and very helpful during the Covid lockdown. Nice location close to main street and foreshore. Easy going park and plenty of room the oval is also handy and well maintained. Camp kitchen is large and barbeque facilities very clean. Price for unpowered tent sites are very reasonable.
