We were a huge group of multiple families with kids aged 3 to 16, singles and couples, celebrating a milestone birthday. We all found rooms that suited our very different needs, and there were activities both on-site and nearby for everyone. Siesta staff were spectacularly helpful and went above and beyond to help us when 'herding cats' of lost glasses, swipe cards and children. Highly recommend!

We arrived during school holidays. Pool is great, indoor pool small but sufficient. The restaurant wasn’t open for food or drinks which is a shame but assume it’s a summer thing.

The room was tidy. The fridge and heater were old but worked. There was one thin towel each and apparently you have to dry them yourself in the laundry as they are ‘low in towels’. You need to pay for pool towels so bring your own. We found the beds okay to sleep in.

This place would have been great in the 80s but could do with a refresh (and a curtain clean) as it would be amazing.

For $274 a night I would have expected a nicer room and towels and water in the rooms. This should have been priced at $150 in my opinion - not Melbourne CBD hotel prices.

I booked the Autumn family package
$299.00 for my husband birthday. It was one night in a deluxe family suite, INC - breaky vouchers, 2a 2k upon arrival and kids free dinner when parents order 2 MAINS.

The room was possibly the worst room at the siesta. It had a view of a rock. There was nothing deluxe about it. Dinner was booked out therefore we could not even utilise the kids eating free voucher, a part of our package we had paid for. We sat around the pool, every spot we sat in someone was smoking next to us (outside of the designated area). My husband went and reported it to reception as there is only one designated smoking area and people were smoking around the whole pool area. The receptionist said she would do something. Nothing was done. There was a group of bikies (20 in total) whom had booked that same night. They sat around the pool drinking excessively, smoking and swearing. It was anything but a family friendly venue. My husband the next morning gave feedback to reception. They said Greg would call. He left a message and my husband rang him back. He said he was disappointed to hear about our experience. My husband asked for a refund or the opportunity to have another night there, where perhaps we could actually enjoy it without people drinking, smoking and swearing near us. He said if we stayed there again he would look after us. What does that even mean? It was truly such a bad experience. I had been coming there since I was a little girl with my whole extended family at Christmas time. We would just about book the cantina out for dinner, there was so many of us. Such great memories. I’m so disappointed in what it has become. It is a bogan hangout!!! Beware of their packages! $300 for a terrible room, not family friendly and not being able to use the vouchers in the package anyway!!!

Very spacious room. Bit weird not having a door on the bathroom. Led to waking up my wife at 2am but it's not the end of the world.
All staff encounters were pleasant.
Highly recommend this place.

Spent 3 days at this resort and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and clean, there was plenty to do, such as mini golf, tennis court, a big chess game, spa, sauna, heated pool, the place is massive. The service was great, very good vibes (and drinks!) at the bar/restaurant.

So Facilities are great pool, spa, sauna, tennis court, mini golf good location. But the rooms terrible. Bed was terrible woke up 4 am in agony bed is like sleeping on concrete and sheets felt hard as if they hadn’t been washed. Coffee cups had coffee in them from previous people obviously not washed. And the shower is actually unsafe goes from cold to hot then boiling without notice if you had a child in that shower would be dangerous. I challenge the owner to sleep a night in that Bed ? Shocking

Absolutely disappointed. For a 4.5star hotel the beds are absolutely terrible!! Rock hard mattress in the king spa room was so disappointing that I chose to go stay at home and only returned to use the facilities... But the spa is cold!!! WHY I had planned on returning during Xmas holidays, but with the spa cold and beds unsleepable I have now cancelled my Xmas booking.. TRULY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
