Very clean and comfy. Lovely staff. A bit noisy because of its location (we expected that). Walls are thin. Only one might passing through but would happily have spent another. Downstairs room as requested when we booked. Nice stay overall.

Very disappointing considering star rating and tariff. Have stayed over the years many times with this group of motels. However this time given the room I was allotted I am so so disappointed.
Why?
Very little furniture/ no kitchen equipment when restaurant not running/ no table at all then worst of all on showering water went hot then cold!!
Sadly I will not choose to stay here again.
PS- bed was great and the young ladies at reception were good.

Disappointed with the room which is a bit old considering the price where the motor inn is more cheaper but the rooms are renovated. Wi-Fi wasn't working all night which is a big issue considering I've travelled to Grafton for work purpose.

Stayed here on an overnight stop over with family. On reading the previous reviews, I was nervous about our stay. However, we needn't have been worried. Motel is quiet, clean and reception staff were lovely. Highly recommend for location and convenience. Rooms were dated, however it was clean, good value and exactly as depicted in the photos.

Let me just say I stay at a lot of motels I'm many different towns and cities however the rating for this place doesn't reflect in the presentation or quality of the room... disappointing and infact considering relocating for the night

I normally give 5* reviews for country motels, but couldn't in this instance. My room wasn't too bad, though there was a couple of cleanliness issues. When I brought one particular issue to the office, the girl behind the desk smiled but gave a whatever attitude especially after I told her about a quick, cheap and easy method of fixing it up. I've worked in 4-5* national and international branded hotels for half my life. In particular, I worked in and continue to work in the Housekeeping department. If it wasn't for the girls attitude behind the desk, I wouldn't have posted a review like this. As is, I fixed the issue myself and I normally don't treat this like one of those hotels I worked in, but the $200+ a night room and the front desk attitude got me irritated. Cleanliness is important, but if someone offers advice, please heed it. I hope that you have improved after this.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The main part of the hotel might be ok but I was given a room in one of two houses at the back of the hotel. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with a bad smell of dampness. There was a large water stain and bad repair on the ceiling over the bed which would have caused mold in the ceiling. I requested to move to another room but they were booked out so I had to stay. By the morning, my sinuses were blocked and it was a very uncomfortable night. I was booked for two nights but just wanted to get away from there. They said they could try to move me to another room but I decided to move up the coast further and get some fresh sea air and it took a couple of days to feel back to normal. Of course they didn't give me a refund because of short notice so it was a very expensive overnight stay. Then I tried their buffet continental breakfast and it was very low standard. The hot water urn wasn't even switched on when I went for a coffee.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the requested microwave was provided, the location was convenient, parking was easy but all the positives were offset by the terrible plumbing and unreliable office hours. On the first night we couldn't get hot water. Reception said to run it for longer and eventually it did come through. The basin tap pressure was such that water bounced straight back up, going everywhere almost every time. The shower rose sprayed out everywhere instead of a nice steady stream. On the second day we were able to have luke warm showers. On the third day it was totally cold showers. Although the posted hours say reception would be there from 8am there was no help available. We noticed that they close up in the evening way before the stated time on the reception door. There appeared to be many empty rooms during our stay so we are unsure why we were put in an upstairs room forcing us to lug our gear up and down. A room more convenient to the parking would have really been appreciated.
