Quality Hotel City Centre - Coffs Harbour, New South Wales

I only rarely give five stars but this great hotel definitely deserves every one of them! We broke our road trip here overnight and had booked well ahead. On arrival, Josh on reception greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm and we really felt welcome. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet – we couldn’t have asked for more and the tariff was very reasonable. The following morning we couldn’t get the shower to run hot so we called reception and the lovely Tahya was very apologetic as she explained the hot water system for our row of rooms had malfunctioned. She was waiting to hear from her manager on when it would be restored. We popped over for breakfast while we waited, hoping it would soon be fixed. When we reached reception, Tahya gave us the key to another room to use for showering and told us our breakfast would be complementary. Breakfast is a continental buffet and offers a good range of options, including some hot food selections (bacon & cheese muffins, ham & cheese croissants, vegetable frittata). We were very appreciative of the wonderful goodwill gestures and can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We’d definitely only stay here when next we visit Coffs Harbour.

I don't make many reviews, but I just had to write about this place.

I made an enquiry online and was surprised when not long after, I received a call from the manager of this hotel. She was the most professional & also friendliest hotel manager I've ever spoken to. Nothing with my enquiry or subsequent booking was too much for her and she went out of her way to answer every question we had before our stay.

Maybe it's Coffs Harbour hospitality compared to what we deal with in Sydney/Central Coast that shone through, but I had to call out the great service.

We are very much looking forward to our stay!

I like choice hotels for the overall surety of experience and this was a great example. Fairly priced we got great reception, quick service, and stayed in a newer section of the hotel. Room was faultless and the expected truck noise was minimal and not even an issue. Honestly very very good would stay again no issues. Thanks team!

stayed at the Quality Hotel City Centre for 5 nights during a work trip to Coffs Harbour in June24. It was a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the housekeeping was consistent in making up the room and cleaning the used dishware. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked well.

Had a great stay here, room on the inside was so much better than I expected. I also love that they give $10 off the restaurant if you don't use housekeeping. Staff were great particularly the lovely lady from Paraguay whose name I forgot. Excellent wifi speed in my room too which made it great for when I had to do work in my room.

Great comfy stay.

New accessible room. King bed plus single. Open space. Bathroom fully accessible: roll in shower, fold down shower seat, grab rails for shower and toilet. Basin, mirror all at wheelchair height. Sensor light in bathroom at night (nice touch).
If travelling alone will just need cups, kettle, toaster down from upper shelf (only lapse).
Quiet location.
Phone for reception. Good heating/cooling.

We had an issue as we had stayed there previously in the same room which was on the second floor and had smelt very strongly of smoke. The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive and apologised and moved us to one of their new rooms. We were very impressed by the room and was incredibly grateful for the staff and their promptness as our previous room was making us nauseous.

What a GEM! Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the newest section of the hotel and we have already re-booked a return stay. The restaurant is fabulous and I suggest you not only avail yourself of the self serve Continental Breakfast but treat yourself to an evening meal in the cosy restaurant. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, room was clean and modern, easy off-street parking, walking distance to town Centre or easy short drive to the Plaza as well as nice drive to Woolgoolga or any of the locations between Coffs and further north.
