Hidden gem tucked away in a beautiful spot. Close to convenience yet secluded enough for R & R. Friendly atmosphere with an awesome pool.

We stayed for two nights with our fur kid Fabio.|This motel is very reasonably priced, it's set back from the road and is quiet and wild. I loved the farm yard feel and the owners are relaxed and pleasant.|The rooms are small but completely adequate comprising a decent sized bed, TV and small shower room,overall clean and simple. The only down side is the walls are thin and I could hear my neighbour snoring.|Pets are welcome and that is a massive plus for me.|There isn't any WiFi and I couldn't get a phone signal either.|We did like it here though it ticked all the boxes for a great weekend away.|Thank you|

Spent 2 nights here. An enjoyable stay in a good clean and comfortable room. Amanda was welcoming friendly and helpful and told us it had only been taken over by her and her business partners 3 months ago. It is a work in progress with big plans for the future. Great location for visiting Nimbin and the surrounding area with it's rainforest and wonderful waterfalls. Would highly recommend for an affordable and pleasant stay.

Great spot! The managers are lovely and very compassionate. I saw them first hand helping fire affected people. The grounds are lovely, the pool is beautiful! Room was very clean upon arrival. Super dog friendly. Will be back! - K & T

A really great place. Manageress was very very helpful. Gr8 country style Motel, lots of peace and quiet, and it's a pet friendly Motel to boot. Has a lot of communal type places, fully equipped kitchen, great BBQ, Swimming pool and, you can sit out of your unit and watch/listen to the cattle and chooks. Really recommend this Motel.

I just stayed at the Nimbin Rocks Retreat, and am delighted to let everyone know that it had changed owners. A lovely family now runs it and they were very welcoming and friendly. While the rooms are very basic, the grounds are beautiful and a lot of renovations are under way. The pool was very pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This is the worst motel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot. We stayed here for one night over Easter (we were booked in for two but couldn't hack it). So, where to start - there were just so many highlights...||1. The unbelievably rude (and frankly, a bit scary) proprietor. This man had no memory of our booking and seemed genuinely put out by our presence. At one point I visited the reception to ask for some soap (more about that below) and was greeted with a "what do you want." He seemed in no way surprised when we told him that one night was enough and we wouldn't be staying the following night.||2. The state of the room. We're pretty sure our room had only just been vacated by the previous occupant as there was water on the floor near the shower, the bathmat was wet, hair on the pillows, sticky coffee residue on the teaspoons and no soap. ||3. The other clientele. I understand that the other clientele were paying customers and that a motel can't pick and choose its customers, but the other people staying at this place were a bit scary too. Many seemed to spend the night sitting at the tables outside of their rooms, drinking, smoking, swearing and, at one, point fighting. Unfortunately the small window in our bathroom didn't close, and the door to our bathroom didn't either, so we had wafts of smoke drifting throughout our room all night.||||The piece de resistance of this place was the emergency assembly area sign, which was ironically situated directly next to a fallen tree. This stay was so bad it was laughable. On the plus side, it's given us a new gold standard for judging bad service/quality and will thus make average motels seem outstanding!

There's not many choices of places to stay in Nimbin, so this one has been a regular work base over the years. Very happy to say that the new owners are doing a thorough spring clean, not just in premises, but in service also. Nothing like happy, smiling faces in hospitality. Pool was a very welcome relief after a long hot day.
