We stayed 3 wonderful nights over ANZAC weekend it was the best. The service from the team was extremely friendly and hospitable with breakfasts and dinner definitely to come back for. So central and a short walk to Humbug, Rustica, the Wharf complexes, Oh My Papa, Harry’s Cafe de Wheels, Crown & Anchor immediately across the road and Woolies Metro immediately next door so much more. Jana’s in-house restaurant is amazing and the rooftop bar is the perfect place to close out the evening!

We stayed for 2 nights in a spacious king deluxe room which had a balcony with water views. Very comfortable big bed, large bath and complimentary wine with decorations for our anniversary. Block out blinds which kept us sleeping in past 9 which was lush. Rooftop bar has spectacular views too. Dyson hair tools complimentary for use. Only negatives we have about this hotel is that it’s self check in on an ipad which we found impersonal. Tried to order room service around 11pm with only 3 food options to choose from. Unfortunately we were woken up around 7:30am to a very loud evacuation alarm going off for about 5 minutes, evacuating our room in a panic. It was then announced it was a false alarm. No apology or explanation was given so not sure what happened there. We selected to not have the daily room refresh to help the environment, with $10 daily credit added onto our stay, however, we never saw this credit.

Bar staff fantastic. View- A+. Vibe overall plus asthetic fab. Cocktails taste wise excellent however would prefer a full glass. Charcuterie board no cheese? Accomodating with gluten free option. Would definately return. Many thanks!

First time stay & we thoroughly enjoyed our time at QT Newcastle.
The Hotel is so funky & Quirky .
Unique..
Loved the entire decor throughout the rooms & hotel .
Reception were so welcoming , smiling faces everywhere. Beautiful girls . Thanks for all your help .
Very comfortable bed .
Meals are also amazing & Bar staff very friendly & helpful .
The Rooftop bar was awesome , amazing cocktails & of course views .
Absolutely loved the Kevin Murphy products in the rooms , So nice , we felt very spoilt .
We will be back .

What a lovely hotel. Nicely decorated and clean. The bed was big and comfy. Great curtains keep the light out in the morning for a little sleep in!!!!! The staff are absolutely fantastic- nothing is too much trouble, friendly, smiling, wanting to help with anything. Roof top bar was an added bonus. Would highly recommend 👍👍

This rates as a great little hotel in my book. From the initial very friendly booking experience, where they matched an internet special rate, to check out, it was a great service experience. The key factor was the staff team and how friendly and welcoming they were. Happy to have a chat they personalised the stay. Most impressive was the welcoming note in my room. The young man taking the booking noted the reason for my stay and I found a very clever welcome note (see photo). The room was great, very stylish, clean and so many pillows. Great location close to the cafes and the waterfront. I will be staying here again…

I am lucky enough to stay here each time I travel to Newcastle for work. As far as hospitality experiences go, the whole team at QT nail it every time. The energy of the staff is always fantastic, and the little things they do for returning guests always enhances my visits. Outside of having a great team, the food is great, the rooms are excellent/comfy, and the location is nice and central (an easy stroll to the beach for a swim). Thanks Team QT - knowing I am coming to stay always makes me look forward to the trip!

What a great place to stay in, we stayed for 3 nights & it is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in years.
The roof top bar with its sensational views is the only venue in Newcastle where you should consider having a drink.
The food in the restaurant was better than what we have experienced in Newcastle during our last number of visits.
The staff could not be any more friendly or helpful.
Overall a great experience & we will definitely be back.
