I visited Australia over Christmas and new years and believe me, one of the best places I visited was P&V Paddington. When we messaged to see if there was availability and whether they could accommodate for my vegan fiancee I have to say we were blown away.

Not only was the service from start to finish impeccable but the chef made a special vegan dish for that day. They also change the menu daily which is incredible.

Massive shout out to Caitlin who is the friendliest face we could have bumped into.

If you are questioning whether to eat (or drink) here take my word for it and take the plunge!

A wee gem of a place in Paddington. Caitlin the manager looked after our table and we couldn’t have had better service. Her knowledge on the wine was amazing and she really took her time to understand what we wanted when we weren’t sure what to order. Super grateful for her patience and kindness and will defo be back!

Every time I’ve been to P&V I’ve had the best time, the service is SO friendly with everyone making you feel comfortable and ready for a great time.

I love the concept for the wine list which helps me choose things I’d not usually reach for and the bottle shop is sooo solid!

I will always come back whenever I’m in Sydney, such a great venue!

Beautiful wine bar with an amazing French restaurant above and also a nice garden area to enjoy some nibbles and a few wines.
I was greeted with a big smile and welcome from
Caitlin and Michael. Their wine knowledge is outstanding. I took some wine home too.
A lot of the wines that they stock you don’t see anywhere else!
Thank you and I’ll be back soon.

My partner and I are visiting from abroad and were told to visit P&V in Paddington by some local friends and what a time we had. They were full to the brim but the waitress Kaitlin who greeted us managed to find a table for us last minute and looked after us the rest of the night. She guided us through each wine to have with our food and was so down to earth and welcoming we didn’t want to leave! Food was also fantastic. Need more of the neighbourhood living room style bars around and less stuffy pretentious service. 10/10 would recommend. Will be back the next time we’re over visiting friends.

I LOVE P&V Paddington but mainly because of Caitlin and Marty. They feel like friends, always make you welcome and know EVERYTHING about wine. They turn this from another cute wine bar to a real local - a hub in the community. The organic wines and the beautiful wee courtyard are gorgeous too but I hope Caitlin and Marty stay there as long as it's open! Thank you for everything x (my only suggestion would be tweaking the food menu in the bar to have a few more substantial 'staples' to go with the beautiful drinks).

Great atmosphere! Incredible assortment of wines and tasty food as well. Spent quite a few enjoyable hours here 🙂 Staff very warm & friendly with a special shout out to Andy. Definitely worth it!
