Very convenient location, South Point just opposite the road and KFC and Maccas, as well as a variety of other options to eat out just across the road. The hotel had all the basic necessities for a 2 bedroom apartment and the room was clean and comfortable. We were able to cook our own meals and wash our own clothes with the facilities available in the room, which is what i always prefer when we have long stays in a hotel and especially with kids. Bunnings and Officeworks plus a range of other shops all just walking distance as well as an EV charging station. The Tuggeranong kids playground a short walk away was also lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

I always have a wonderful experience with this hotel.
Anna on reception is a shining light, exactly what one needs after travelling all day.
The amenities are well thought out, location to shops across the road is ideal and a short stroll to the water and walking paths in nature is appreciated.
Easy underground parking access is also helpful and rooms are comfortable with the added benefits of a kitchen which I personally love.

Fantastic location close to shops/ cafes. The apartments were modern and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Well equipped kitchen, fantastic shower, very comfortable bed. I really cannot find anything negative to say.

My parents and I had a fantastic stay at Punthill Tuggeranong! From the moment we arrived, Anna at reception made us feel so welcome—her bubbly and friendly personality is truly a highlight. The location is perfect, with shops just a short walk away and the beautiful lake nearby, which is great for a relaxing stroll.

The accommodation itself was excellent—self-contained, spacious, and super comfortable. We never felt like we were away from home! There’s also plenty of parking available outside, plus a secure underground option if needed. Overall, a great place to stay, whether for business or leisure. Highly recommend!

Punthill is perfect. All the little things that make a stay amazing. It was comfortable, affordable and divulged a convenient location. Nothing was missed in our room, still size fridge, washer/dryer, stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave, all while still being roomy and comfortable.

We made Punthill Tuggeranong our base for the weekend visit to Canberra. Its locality was better than we expected to locations we visited in Canberra, and the room amenities were very good. Just outside the hotel, we were spoilt for choice of eateries and enjoyed time in the South Point shopping centre directly opposite the hotel. With a secured parking option, this establishment ticked all the boxes and will be on our return choice of accommodation for the future. The reception staff were polite and very helpful 😀 Highly recommend Punthill to anyone looking for value for money and comfortable accommodation.

Rude, unhelpful staff.
Daniel was particularly obtuse.
No after-hours service or night porter.
Cannot recommend.
Edit:
After speaking with Nathan(Manager), it was confirmed I had stayed at the apartment.
I was told on check-in that my e-bike would have to go into storage. No problem.
At approx 8.30 p.m., I needed access to my bike, as friends nearby had offered to re-charge my battery overnight.
Reception was unattended.
On contacting the 'after-hours' help line, several times, I was told by 'Daniel' I would only get access when reception opens at 7.00 am! and not before.
According to Daniel, I should have made arrangements!?
Apart from the huge inconvenience, as the bike was my only transport, it made me wonder, what if I had medicine in my bike bags, insulin, for example. What if there was an emergency at home that needed me to leave altogether.
Why is a large hotel complex completely unattended by any staff whatsoever, between the hrs of 9pm & 7am.
What if there was a fire or other emergency!
As it turned out, the following days ride was ruined.
Nathan, my review stands. You can't blame staffing on covid forever, and an unmanned hotel is unacceptable & dangerous!
