I recently stayed at Punthill Parramatta and had a wonderful experience. As a team member from Punthill Essendon, I truly appreciated the high standard of hospitality and cleanliness maintained at this property.

A special mention goes to Dolma at the reception she was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. Her calm demeanor and prompt assistance made the check-in and overall experience seamless and pleasant.

The rooms were modern and well-maintained, and the location is convenient with everything you need close by. It’s great to see the same level of service and warmth reflected across Punthill properties. Kudos to the team!

“Our family had a wonderful stay at Punthill Parramatta! The apartment was spacious and spotless, with plenty of room for the kids to play. The kitchen and in-room laundry made it perfect for a family. Special thanks to housekeepers Meenu and Jefrey for their excellent service—our room was always clean and welcoming. Their supervisor, Safna, clearly leads a great team. The receptionist was warm and helpful throughout our stay, and the manager was equally professional and attentive. Great location, comfy beds, and truly outstanding service. Highly recommended for families!”

We recently attempted to stay at Punthill under the impression that it was a pet-friendly serviced apartment, as clearly advertised. However, upon arrival—after a long drive—we discovered an unavoidable $250 pet cleaning fee that was not disclosed upfront. This charge was buried deep in the fine print, making it extremely difficult to identify during a last-minute booking.

This deceptive practice resembles price baiting, where the true cost of a service is only revealed after the customer is already committed.

Adding to the frustration, there was no vehicle parking available at the hotel. For driving travellers, this is far from ideal, especially in a location with extensive metered parking that applies until late in the evening.

When we contacted staff to raise these concerns, we were met with a cold and unhelpful response. There was no acknowledgment of the misleading nature of the advertising, nor any willingness to assist or explain.

Due to the deceptive pricing and poor customer service, we cancelled our stay and chose alternative accommodation with transparent policies and genuine hospitality. Travellers—particularly those with pets or vehicles—should exercise caution when booking with this property.

The team went above and beyond to provide such a comfortable stay. I loved how intimate and homely the rooms were. Plus, the access to eateries was endless! I was impressed with how well the concierge/front desk knew the area of Parramatta. I will definitely be back!

The staff are amazing, all of the Reception staff are welcoming & have gone above & beyond to make our stay here so enjoyable, nothing is a problem & we have felt valued as guests. The rooms are Clean, Tidy and spacious. Nice and comfortable home from home experience. Great location with plenty of restaurants close by. Spotted a nice little rooftop terrace as well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
