Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is a cozy and modern hotel that effortlessly creates a sense of home, right in the heart of the city. My stay was seamless, thanks to the attentive staff. A special mention goes to Victoria, who resolved a few booking issues with ease. Her approach was quick, professional, and incredibly friendly. Staff like her leave a lasting positive impression and make the stay truly comfortable.

The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The windows offer beautiful views of Hyde Park’s greenery, adding a sense of tranquility even in the bustling city center. Each room is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay: a comfortable bed, impeccable cleanliness, and small yet meaningful details that enhance the experience.

The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Sydney. Many iconic attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby to suit any taste.

Stayed here for a night for business, the hotel is nice and central with a great view on Hyde Park and a nice roof top pool.
Inside the hotel and the rooms however can do with some major renovation. I stayed in a room that faced east and got full morning sun and got really hot due to the aircon not working.
Basic housekeeping and maintenance checks prior to a booking would pick these things up especially in a hotel that claims it’s 5 star.
The buffet breakfast was good.

We stayed for my daughter’s 18th Birthday and the experience was amazing. My daughter was made to feel extremely special and made for a very memorable milestone birthday. The view was awesome, the breakfast was fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful.

Location was excellent, with a beautiful view of Hyde Park.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We greatly appreciated having our luggage stored until check in, and were provided early access which was a bonus.
It would have been great if there was a microwave in the room, but not a dealbreaker.
Excellent proximity to Museum Station, and only a few train stops from the airport.

We stayed here for a few nights in October 2024.||The hotel is about 20 minutes by car from Sydney International Airport. By foot, it's about five minutes across the park into the main shopping area in Sydney. We have been to Sydney many times and chose this hotel as, while not in the very centre itself, it is located right by beautiful Hyde Park (and, if you're in a room facing the park, there is a wonderful view) and it is within easy walking distance to everything. There is a convenience store right by the hotel but we couldn't find many restaurants in the vicinity. You'll need to cross the park to get to the main shopping/restaurant area.||The room itself, facing the park, was bathed in afternoon sun. We were on a high floor and there was absolutely no noise. That had its disadvantages, though, as the lifts were not particularly fast and occasionally the wifi cut out. The room was clean and had all the usual amenities, including a coffee machine.||The buffet breakfast was standard - the usual food items, but nothing flash. After a few days it became a bit boring.||The hotel needs a good update. The lobby is a bit dark and not at all welcoming and the other common areas were showing their age. For example, the carpet in the hallway was quite old. The hotel could be cleaner. For example, the carpet in the lifts was dirty. On the top floor there is a pool and a hot spa big enough for about two people only. Someone had been eating up there and left behind some food wrappings and it took the hotel some time to remove that rubbish. The top floor could be so much more, but it's not all that attractive or enticing.||On our next trip to Sydney we will probably stay somewhere else. This hotel is ok, and the price was good, but we would prefer to stay somewhere cleaner and more central.

Excellent, welcomed with warmth, queries easily answered. I was told that I could not take plastic cups from the bar to my room, but the staff could bring them to the room - for a $5 fee. This was disappointing. Other than that, no complaints.

Honestly, had a horrible experience, room was not cleaned and smelt. I ask for the shower curtain to be changed as it stunk and was a big cause of the smell and for the room to be cleaned. However, only the shower curtain was changed and the room was not cleaned. This was after 6 attempts of trying to get through to reception as I kept getting transferred to a line required a passcode which I had told them multiple times. Ended up having to go down and ask them in person. There was also no soap in the bathroom or shower. No towels at the pool and the pool area wasn't cleaned well. Gym was a mess and dirty. I couldn't connect to the tv or internet properly and was told that most guest bring their own chromecast or use hotspot, which I'd be more than happy to do if I was told this and not paying for these kind of amenities that do not work. I did call about these things, but I shouldn't have to call about basic necessities at a hotel, with most things besides the shower curtain being resolved. I paid the same for a night a the HYATT Regency and the stay was great, facilities were extremely clean. These facilities were not clean in my opinion. Staff were still quite nice about everything and tried to help but it seems it is a bigger issue at the hotel. I am definitely not staying at a Pullman hotel ever again, really horrible and stressful stay. I am only complaining in hopes that you guys take initiative to follow up on these issues so no one has to have that same experience ever again at your hotel.

Only one rainy night to catch a concert, but my son and I loved it. Comfortable beds, a great view, and a great night's sleep instead of a long train ride home. From the really friendly arrival through the relaxing room, wonderful breakfast to the easy checkout, everything was first rate. A great decision to stay here.
