I celebrated my 17 year anniversary on Friday night in room 1011. We have not stayed at quay grand in over a decade, but it has been our favourite hotel to mention and recommend to our friends and family.

Unfortunately our most recent stay was extremely disappointing. The room was tired, bathroom ceiling had significant water damage and brown stains near the light, the toilet had what looked to be a permanent rust stain in the middle, peeling paint. The sink in the kitchen when 'slightly' turned on would shoot out at full force and wet myself and my laptop. The fridge was a cheap hisense unit and the adult movie selection was absolutely terrible.

We had this vision of past experiences of the hotel and were extremely looking forward to it however it seems the hotel hasn't been looked after since our last visit.

Loved the views, the bar and the food offerings. All A+.

Overall very disappointed and will not be returning as the room was definitely not worth anywhere near the $970+ I spent on it for one night.

I did appreciate the lovely petals and swans towels on our bed with the anniversary notice.

Please let me know once the building is in better condition and we will consider a return.

Absolutely fantastic and the customer service was outstanding. Location was amazing being close to the botanical gardens, Sydney opera house it just doesn’t get any better. The room was so comfortable and super clean and the beds are super comfortable it had everything we needed and the staff even set up the sofa bed for our 9 year old son before we had arrived. The pool area was great and heated with plenty of great sun chairs overlooking the quay. It was a truely great stay. I would very highly recommend anyone going to Sydney for a holiday to stay at Pullman Quays Grand.

Great location, however very let down by a couple of things. Firstly, we noted on first use that the handbasin in the bathroom was not draining properly. Reported to front desk who did respond quickly by sending someone to check it. However, by this time, the bathroom floor trap had backed up and totally flooded the bathroom floor to a depth of about 30mm. |The issue was resolved but there was no offer of a special thorough clean of the bathroom or offer of relocation to another apartment to allow for this to happen. Just a “sorry”. For a hotel rated 5 stars we don’t feel that this response was good enough. |We didn’t use either of the on-site dining/bar areas at all. They look really good on the hotel website and we thought the bar would be nice to come back to in the afternoon to sit and have a drink. Wrong. Both venues were primarily dining areas during the day and the bar area was very noisy all day. At night the restaurant area closed early so was unavailable just to sit in and have a drink. We did have our apartment and we sat out on our balcony but, to find a nice quiet place to sit and have a drink in the evenings, we had to go elsewhere. |We booked here thinking we would have a relaxing 5 star experience as valued guests and this didn’t happen.

Honestly, I didn't expect I was going to enjoy my stay this much, but I sincerely wished I had more time to spend there. The room was immaculate and sparkling clean, the balcony hosted a stunning view of the harbour, and the amenities were fantastic too. The only real issue I had during my stay was the shower, at 2pm the water wasn't a constant temperature (switching from hot to cold back to hot) but the bath more than made up for that experience. I kind of wish the TV had an option to pair with a device to stream different services that weren't available in the room. Otherwise, the staff were lovely, the location is perfect, and I will certainly be back in the future! Thank you so much for an amazing weekend 🙂

I booked into the Pullman Quay Grand on the basis of its good reviews, and am so glad I did. The hotel is in a top location - couldn't be better positioned. We loved everything about it, comfy beds, and most pleasant staff. We had a lovely stay, thank you!

Great view of the bridge from room! Central to everything being located at Sydney hub of Circular Quay! Ferries to Manly Taronga Zoo, and Darling Harbour at doorstep as well as many more great places! Oz jet boat at door also! Just around the corner from the iconic Sydney Opera House! Worthwhile the stay! Great restaurants in and around walking distance to all! Would recommend ? Spa is a corner spa and was a little small but overall enjoyed the stay.

I checked in here for one night after a month in Saigon and boy did it make me feel right back at home in Sydney. Great location, fabulous harbour views, more like a well appointed one bedroom apartment with a large balcony than a hotel room. This is a great place to recommend for friends traveling from overseas or even interstate, for them to get that real Sydney sensation.||I have been staying here on and off now for at least 10 years. I do like this hotel.

First time we stayed at Pullman Quay Grand, we were welcomed by friendly staff. They look like they care about clients and like their work, and very attentive. The room was spacious, refurbished and also clean.
It felt cozy, and beds were comfortable. We went to Crown few times previously and it was such disappointing experiences one after the other. Now I finally feel like I found a place that makes my family welcomed and enjoy staying with a reliable services.
