Overnight stay in Cairns for my work at this lovely hotelItthe hotel is across the road from the casino, a short walk to the main shopping area and the night market. Great location. The refurbished room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. I let the hotel know in advance I'd be arriving before the check in time but I was not expecting the room to be ready. I arrived very early around 1230pm. I was just going to drop my luggage off when I was informed my room was ready! What a lovely surprise! The front person was very pleasant to deal with as well. He came across as to be genuinely interested in making my stay great, and happy that I could be offered an early check in. There was also a lovely hand signed welcome card and a plate of cheese and fruits waiting for me in my room. It was so lovely to be able to check in early, freshen up and relax in a lovely room. I'm an Accor member so I do enjoy benefits of the membership, however, pullman cairns' service was above my expectation.

This is not a 5 star hotel...maybe it was once before?
We arrived with our bags, but no Porters existed. We were very tired after a 34 hour journey and my husband had hurt his back. Fortunately the reception staff were friendly.
Sadly half the pool area was closed (building site), and nothing up there was open. It was a very unpleasantness atmosphere so we spent the afternoon in our room, due to my husband not being able to relax by the pool.
Due to our jetlag we opted to dine in our room. The food was good, but the $9 tray charge is excessive.
There were no bath robes, the water in the room was confusing (do these bottles get cleaned or used by everyone?) and the phones took way to long to be answered. We left a shirt in the room and the call to the hotel almost rang out. The room service phone wasn't answered until it redirected to the restaurant. Pretty poor service.
Fortunately the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not great. After waiting so long to get through to the room service we didn't bother to try housekeeping - particularly since it was outside housekeeping hours
Lift your game.
Best things: reception staff and mattress.

We had a fabulous stay. Room very comfortable. Buffet breakfast with an egg station. Staff attentive and welcoming. Coco’s staff amazing. Andrea and Guiseppe made sure we were well looked after and the food was lovely.
Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here one night but could easily have been more. The staff were all very friendly and knew how to do their jobs and made us feel welcomed. The room was a good size and the fact I could make it dark at night made sleeping easier. We only had a couple of drinks in the Happy Hour, and they were good but the cakes we had with our coffees were beautiful and I would recommend them to everyone. Overall, I would stay here again.

The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was modern, clean and had a very comfortable king bed. The food is lovely, both room service and the restaurant and Lobby bar a great place to catch up with friends and family. The location is central to everything, from shopping to touring departures.
We can highly recommend the Pullman Cairns International to anybody looking for outstanding accommodations.

One day stay early morning plane departure but this place us really very nice. Mini bar you pay for. Our view was over the main street which this time of year is not busy. The room was nice and clean but no mint on the pillow. Room didn't have microwave but a coffee mark. Laundry you do yourself was $16 aussie doller for one load wash and dry.

Having previously stayed at the Pullman International, we chose to stay here for a second time on a recent trip to Cairns and were delighted with our choice.

The hotel has a modern fresh decor with very helpful and friendly staff who go out their way to help you. They helped us by loaning us towels for a barrier reef trip with no problem at all.

On arrival we were pleased to have been upgraded to one of their larger rooms which was massive with all the amenities you could desire, a balcony and a stunning view over Cairns and the marina.

The hotel is in the perfect location with just a 5 minute walk to the reef fleet terminal and a few minutes from the excitement of Cairns. We were lucky to have travelled at Christmas time and had a chance to see the hotel decorated for the season with a stunning giant tree in the lobby.

If you are travelling to Cairns, I would recommend staying at the Cairns Pullman International. You will not be disappointed
