When recently planning a luncheon for friends, I contacted Steele to see if he was available (at short notice) and to discuss a menu suitable for our selection of wines. Dealing with Steele was absolutely effortless and in no time, we had a mouth-watering menu selected and the booking was locked in. Steele arrived with everything! –plates, cutlery, linens, table decoration and professionally printed menus, and proceeded to set the table before moving into the kitchen to prepare our meals. We were all impressed that he catered for dietary requirements/personal preferences whilst maintaining the menu integrity and without making the dish look completely different from the rest. Each guest at the luncheon could well be considered a true ‘foodie’ - having dined in some of the very best local and international restaurants - so it is high praise that we were all absolutely delighted, and completely and totally elated with the flow of the luncheon, presentation (introduction of each course and plating) and taste of every course presented to us. High quality produce, expertly prepared and presented, set the luncheon in high esteem and has left us all wanting MORE! Without fuss or ‘noise’ from the kitchen, Steele cleaned and packed away, such that the kitchen was as clean (if not cleaner) as when he arrived. I would have no reservation in recommending Private Dinning by Steele for any occasion or event …he is professional, organised, skilled and sets an extremely high standard in catering, that is almost impossible to match!!!

Recently, I scored a seat at a table of 8, to experience a night that was so much more than the tasting menu on offer. We were all quick to realise, that it wasn't just about the laughter and the stories from around the table and it wasn't just about the food prepared right before our eyes. It was the combination of the setting, the company, the feeling and ambience which was all about Steele working right there just feet away. The anticipation of what was coming from the kitchen next, was exciting and like being part of a show. Yes the food was seriously good but it was way way more than just the food. A perfect evening!

A truly unique and intimate experience, Steele created theatre through dining. The artistic food presentation to the elegant table decor, it all takes a backseat to the flavours and passion he presents in every dish. I tried new foods and flavour pairings I never would have selected outside of this experience as the entire menu and 'performance' is honestly so captivating. Its hard to go out and enjoy fine dining again and feel like an 'adult' with young kids, so having an affordable option in my own home, while the kids slept is so great! I recommend EVERYTHING and you can be assured I'll be booking again (and again).

Steele's personalised dining service brought a touch of luxury and sophistication to my own apartment, making it a truly memorable evening. From the moment Steele arrived, his attentiveness and professionalism were apparent. He seamlessly navigated my space, ensuring that he respected our privacy and blended into the background, allowing us to fully enjoy the dining experience. His unobtrusive nature created a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the sensational seven-course meal that Steele crafted. Each course was a work of art, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavours and served in perfect timing. Not only did Steele showcase his culinary expertise, but he also left my apartment spotless. However, what truly set Steele apart was his friendly and engaging demeanour. He struck the perfect balance between being personable and professional, making the evening even more enjoyable. Steele's knowledge and passion for what he did shone through in his conversations with us and I loved hearing how sometimes his Grandma helped with his desert selection. Our evening with "Private Dining by Steele" was an absolute delight and I look forward to the next experience that I have already booked.

Steele was an absolute dream to work with on a 'baby shower banquet' where an Asian inspired menu was requested by the mum to me. The food Steele produced was absolutely delicious and we were all very jealous that the host got to keep the leftovers. I have already booked Steele for another two events. Highly HIGHLY recommend.
