I really enjoyed my stay at the Prickly Pear. I had a comfortable self-contained unit with all the necessities. The setting is suburban, but pleasant and convenient for visiting Newcastle University. Reasonable proximity (< 10 m in walk) to bus services running into the city center.

Induction stove and pans are too old and dirty.
We stayed for 7 nights but got only 2 rubbish bags which is not enough.
Oven is smelly and dirty.
