Brilliant food, lovely atmosphere, nice and warm on a cold winters night. I honestly couldn't recommend this little pub enough. The publicans were super welcoming, drinks kept pouring. We had three courses, the trio of Dips for entree were spring onion, beetroot and sundried tomato/capsicum with a generous serving of bread. Main which is the photos was bbq chicken parma and vegetarian lasagne which was delectable and we had a sticky date pudding with ice cream and cream for dessert which was also generous and really really delicious. Thankyou for a wonderful night and as a Bendigo local who hasn't been to this pub for years I will definitely be back again! It's worth the drive from town 😊 Best meals that I've had in a long time!

Amazing food and amazing staff... I think I ate so much I passed out. No jokes. Literally took a quick nap before driving home.
The Kilpatrick isn't for me however, I find it a bit too sweet. I will definitely go with fresh oysters. Steak was cooked to perfection. And the sticky date pudding is to die for. You definitely need to try it.

Visited Pratty's Patch based on a local's recommendation and we loved it. Gorgeous old place. The vibe is so cozy and like you're almost stepping back in time. Ordered the lamb cutlets with mash and veggies and it was huge. Plenty for 2 people in one serve. Serving sizes are definitely large. Ordered a strawberry sundae for dessert which was a real treat, like stepping back into my childhood..all the nostalgia feels. We moved outside for drinks after dinner and fairy lights made a beautiful ambience. Would recommend this place. Fun old bar connected to be able to sit for drinks too..just a cool place!

This is one of the best pubs i have camped and stayed at after many years of travel. Felt so welcome and the colourful locals made for an entertaining day/night. We had the best seafood plater ever and would recommend everyone should visit. Thank you Steve is a special pub

Wow, what a fall from grace. Up until now I would have said the best pub in Bendigo. Our last meal was possibly the worst steak of all time, we ordered the eye fillet, it was inedible, was one large grossly lump. We sent it back with the waiter and told him how bad it was, he didn't seem to care and when he returned from the kitchen seemed to totally ignore us and walked on by.

We went there for a birthday lunch and the food was amazing and so reasonably priced ..It's a warm cozy old pub ,so inviting and the staff were absolutely lovely ..I will definitely be returning .

Great meal,staff very accommodating as we had our dog with us in the outdoor area . Had a bowl of fresh water there for him , gave him pats. Loved the decor
