I showed up early as I had been travelling all morning. I get in and I’m greeted by Garbiel who is immediately helpful. I tell him I’m wanting to try a focaccia, and he asks if I had time to wait around because he has fresh bread being prepared. 2 things at this point told me he was authentic. 1. He greeted me and invited me in. 2. He offered me the best food he had and encouraged me to take my time. I felt like he understood the assignment when I told him to surprise me and he didn’t hold back. This was so good, so fresh, so filling. I left with a great impression. After doing what I needed to around town, I returned later that afternoon to try the pasta, and wow. These guys really believe in what they cook. They’re not here to give you food, they’re here to nourish you! 10/10

A few items on the menu sold out by the time we arrived, which is a great sign of a thriving small-batch business, but the chef was very helpful in helping guide our order to other available options.

There are so many great reasons why Pota Pasta consistently receives a 5 star rating. A rare gem anywhere in Australia, but especially in Wagga Wagga. Authentic, classic Northern Italian flavours that transport you to places like Bergamo, Italia (home of San Pellegrino). My family and I stopped by for an early dinner while passing through town. The staff were highly personable, knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. It was a true pleasure to enjoy this experience through their hospitality, pride in their Italian identity without the bigger crowds of larger cities.

Personal favourites:
- Locally produced focaccia with Riverina region speck, truffle cream and fresh rocket. If you only try one thing, get this focaccia!
- Braised beef ravioli
- Pistachio gelato
- Chinotto
- Double espresso to round it out nicely

Food was so good, gnocchi was delicious and focaccia was so smooth and tasty. Meals are also very reasonably priced and staff is super friendly and lively. Very authentic Italian food as well. Can’t speak more highly of a restaurant.

If you have a group of friends dining, pre-book dinner with the chef, he may consider open till later than 6pm.

Spectacular! Popped in at lunch to order 10 different foccacias for a family celebration. All made fresh, quickly and cut into manageable slices placed in a large serving tray with tiny Italian flags dotted throughout. Man who served us and made the fresh foccacias was so friendly and accommodating. While family commented on how tasty they were with fabulous ingredients that complimented each other. Cannot recommend highly enough so impressed would happily have again and again.
