Amazing experience! They are very greatful of visitors. It's a short walk through the hotel (glamping tents) to reach the Koala hospital and trees. Absolutely beautiful and perfectly maintained. We saw plenty of the rescued Koalas. Stayed about 1h. Also great coffee and food for good price in the coffee at the entrance.
More benches at the enclosures would be beneficial for visitors.

We had an amazing stay glamping at the Sanctuary. From the moment we checked in, Staff went out of their way to ensure we were aware about services available, that we were comfortable and had access to anything we needed. The tent itself was beautifully laid out and very clean. The hamper was ample for our stay and products were great quality. The koala tour was informative and well done. The grounds were absolutely stunning. The kids loved the pool (not heated) and spa (heated). We had a tent that backed on to the 4WD path to the near by beach and we could hear them all coming and going but it wasn't an issue as noise ceased by around 8pm. We did walk to the beach to see the dunes but as it's a clothing optional beach, we drove a few minutes to one mile which is a fabulous beach for kids. The Sanctuary is really close to shops and we utilised the BBQs to cook dinner. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here to friends and family.

We stayed back in September for my husbands 50th birthday. What a delight it was. Sam and all the staff and volunteers are so friendly, passionate and knowledgeable about not just koalas but the local environment and nature in general.

The glamping tent was lovely. So beautiful to wake up to nature sounds and just quiet tranquillity.

Service was amazing. The welcome hamper was fantastic. Will definitely cone again and absolutely recommend for a lovely holiday where you are also contributing to koala conservation.

And oh my gosh the koalas!!!!!! ? ADORABLE!!!!! Highlight to wake up every morning and go have a little walk around the koalas.

Great experience this morning with Ken helping us see the koalas and sharing his knowledge of them and the surroundings. Definitely worth the entrance fee if you’re in the area!

5 stars for what this place does.
4 stars as a bit over priced to visit for a day trip.
We were in and out pretty quickly as there was only a few things to look at.
If you do go look at the entry fee as a donation to this wonderful organisation.
The staff were all wonderful and the food was lovely … if the entry wasn’t as expensive we would defiantly visit more often as we live local

Excellent facility for the care of injured koalas. Those who do not recover sufficiently to be released back into the wild are given sanctuary to live out their lives in comfort and safety. We saw Miss Sunset, one of the long term residents, return from a health check and quickly head to her lunch leaves! The facility itself is immaculately presented and cared for and well set up for koalas and visitors. The staff and volunteers were friendly and very informative. A very interesting visit for us.

As I was staying in the area, I thought I would go and visit this place. Very nicely set up. I could have been in and out in about 30 minutes, but I was so fascinated with watching the koala's and listening to the volunteer (I think it was Donna) I learned so much about these beautiful cuddly animals. Well worth the time. Best to go first thing in the morning as that is when they are most active. They tend to sleep a lot. Did also see a tawny frog mouth. Thought it was classed as an owl, but it is not. Very hard to see as they like to camouflage and not move. Great little cafe to sit and have a coffee and a snack. Seniors' discounts with your card also apply for entry. By the way if you are looking to cuddle these little guys, not that kind of sanctuary.
