Management are just dreadful people! See reviews on TripAdvisor and bookings.com.
The bar restaurant once was great when Japanese menu... can't say what restaurant is currently like as I wouldn't go there due to Management of resort.
Also the area for bins, right at entrance is just gross!! haven't never been cleaned the smell and just yuckyness sets the screen for your stay!

Review for the bar/restaurant.

Hard one to leave, the atmosphere is lovely and the live music great. Fair prices for food and drinks. Had a nice spot with the footy on (plus plenty of tables in the restaurant area) and just a nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Unfortunately the meals were disappointing, fish bites and chips were run of the mill, but the fish curry was pretty gross in my opinion. Dry, overcooked and not fresh fish crumbled over a fairly nice but very sweet curry sauce, some rice and flat bread and cream. No vegetables at all so the focus was left on the poor tasting fish. Not inedible but not far off (mainly due to the fish). I understand that the chef mentioned in older reviews has gone to Seashells Seafood in the town, (which has great food as a result).

Review is for the resort.

Near perfect stay. Very comfortable with accommodation very relaxing and easy going.

Amenities were great and residents were very accommodating to families, and the couple we stayed next to were very welcoming.

Thanks for a great 5 night stay.

Very good value for money considering the cost per night of some places a little further up the road.

Great spot for a chilled, low key meal. We went on Mother's Day & enjoyed some delicious Japanese food. Nothing flash so don't come expecting 5 star. You will be greeted with paper bowls and some very interesting characters which makes the place it's own. The food however is 5 star and absolutely delicious. Kids can swim in the pool whilst you eat. Live music is good although very very loud. And I'm not even old and saying it was just way too loud on Mother's Day. The music would've been loud enough without the speakers.
Overall if you want a nice chilled atmosphere without the upthemselves scene that you can sometimes find elsewhere then this is your place!!

Amazing! Tiki bar is a must do. The pool and bar together was fantastic, kept the kids busy while we relaxed. The pool is perfect for all ages. The food was beyond all expectations. Was not expecting such perfection. You won't regret an afternoon at tikis.

I have stayed and visited the resort now on a few occasions and it is always beautifully maintained, the staff are always friendly and helpful and my 4 kids absolutely love the pool! On our most recent visit we were able to experience live music by the pool and enjoy a massage from the resident masseuse...amazing and would highly recommend!
