This old pub could definitely tell some stories from back in the day. I love how it looks just the way it did 40 or more years ago. It has so much character. The food is so good. Huge portions for a cheap price. The roasts are always so yummy with the veggies and gravy and meat so tender. Exactly what you would expect from a pub meal. The steaks are massive and so cheap. staff are always friendly and up for a chat. Uncle Bob's jug band plays from time to time and is alot of fun. Love the dog friendly beer garden to the side. We will be back for sure.

What you would expect from an old country pub. Charming historical venue with good value pub grub. Generous portions. I ordered the steak sandwich and hubby the chicken burger and both went down well. Plenty of seating options and bonus that it is pet friendly. Would like to come back for the live music.

Excellent steak 600gram best value in the Noosa Hinterland cooked to perfection couldn’t eat it all. Service friendly and quick it’s a great Aussie pub we need more of them. Beers cheap and icy cold we will definitely be back. A pub with character and full of character's!

Beautiful hotel with great staff and awesome prices.
The pool table is perfect (and free).
Had a steak that was cooked perfectly with great mash and veg.
Great dosa area and the locals are friendly.

We live at Cooroy & met some people on Xmas day who said good things about the Pomona Hotel.
It did not disappoint. Menu basic but OK & pricing is good. Service is prompt & friendly. Rustic appeal. Limited wine list (mostly one winery) but covers all popular varieties.
Pleased to find a new "local pub" after boycotting Cooroy due to several bad experiences.

I’m a musician so I play at a lot of pubs, and a lot of times the food is just pub staples like chicken Parmy or steak, the Pomona goes beyond that and has an amazing chef who cooks some really amazing dishes, even my vegan friends were raving, worth the drive, friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and good music (biased of course)
It’s close to the train, so it would make an amazing day trip!

Rooms were overpriced. Friendly staff layed back atmosphere. The meal we ordered was disgusting couldn't even eat it. Steak tasted like road kill with a floury garlic lumpy sauce chips ok but salad was old and slimy. Won't ever eat here again.
