We were very happy with everything about the Guest House. The room(s) were a good size & the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast room was good with an adequate supply of basic necessities. We will be back next year for the 2026 National Celtic Festival.

This quaint, traditional, homely guest house is just a wonderful place to stay! In a convenient location it really would suit everyone. Passing by or staying a while the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need (and then added a little bit more). Staying here we felt welcome and looked after and it’s clear they love what they do. From chocolates on your pillow, to wine and nibbles in the lounge (we stayed on a Saturday in winter) and complimentary breakfast (seasonal) with fresh ground coffee!! Even additional ammenities were close on hand. No need to ration or even ask when you run out. There isn’t a rating high enough for this accommodation.

Very very nice place to stay. They certainly look after your every comfort to make you want to book again and again. The room greeted us with clean towels and sheets as you might expect, but a treat of chocolate fudge made it a good start.
The guesthouse has a common lounge with lovely gas heating, and a separate conference room where we had the freedom to sit and write. Free continental breakfast consisted of lashings of a variety of cereals, different milks and yoghurt, fresh fruit loaves of good quality bread including fruit toast (nor the usual commercial type, but rich in fruit and flavour). Endless coffee, varieties of tea were all there to use anytime. A clean communal kitchen well equipped with clean pots, pans, microwave, stove to allow guests to cook and serve themselves with good wash up and drying tea towels.
Access to a pool, tennis courts and table tennis with racquets, balls and bars showed the owner's commitment to make guests make it their own home.
Highly recommend this place.

My wife's grandparents and uncle stayed at the Terminus (now Point Lonsdale Guest House) for many years after Rockholm (another Point Lonsdale Guest House) burnt down, along with a cohort of Wimmera friends. We visited then and were impressed, so some years ago (maybe 15) we began our own visits. We used to have breaky in the dining room and wondered what breakfast in the external kitchen area would be like. It was excellent and an enjoyable part of our 4 night stay. All the provisions were of excellent quality and generous. We found ourselves enjoying the companionship, ideas and suggestions and regathering to cook our evening meals on nights we didn't dine out.

We used the conference room to catch up on some tasks and found it to be comfortable and useful. We borrowed some books to look through at night and scanned the provided daily newspaper. The weather meant we didn't use other outdoor activities in the backyard but they were tidy and clean.

Thank you very much to the owners and staff for a relaxing, warm, comfortable mid-winter break. We plan a return visit and will suggest it to friends. You are very capable and hospitable host in a lovely guest house.

Terrific location close to bay, ocean, great coffee shops and restaurants, and walking tracks. Very clean. Good beds. Old-fashioned guest house charm. Quiet. Access to guest kitchen and laundry facilities very convenient. Attentive and friendly manger. Terrific facility.

Amazing place. The owner is awesome. Free upgrade early check in. Kids activities, they supply so many free extras and the best part is the outside kitchen. Just go to shops leave in the kitchen and cook to ur hearts content. Never seen a place like this.

Literally my new favourite holiday destination. Forget 3 star, this place is 5 star through and through.

If you are looking for accommodation with turn of the century charm (last century), perfectly located in point lonsdale, epitomises its name "guest house" - we literally feel so at home like we are staying w an elderly relative its so charming and the hosts are magnificent... unseen yet totally understanding of who their customer is and going above and beyond to cater for their every need.

Cannot recommend this place enough!
