Plantation Resort is so beautiful. They upgraded our room for us to give us more space and a sea view from the main bedroom. Clean and tidy. The pool was great. The staff are friendly and helpful. We just loved our stay there. Highly recommend.

As a return guest I was extremely disappointed with my stay last week for my husbands birthday. I booked directly over the telephone.|Unit 10 that we paid $329.00 per night for, was in disgraceful condition, cupboard doors falling off, swollen rotting walls, cockroaches in the apartment and rats trying to get in through the glass door.|No access to Foxtel, which is advertised on their website, the room safe door broken, dirty neglected outdoor furniture and terrace areas among many other things.|On checking out when I informed the reception of some of my concerns I was meet with total disregard and a very defensive attitude. Definitely no apologies.|(I had, shortly after arrival raised some concerns with reception but nothing was attended to.)|I will never return and also never again recommend to friends to stay.

My partner and I came here a month ago, the reception were so rude, it was like the woman serving us hated her job and hadn’t had experience with customer service.
We didn’t think we would come back but gave it another shot. No hot water first night now. Rang the emergency out of hours phone number, the lady on the phone obviously hearing me in the background saying to my partner how he is too nice (because he is) about situations like this when you pay $600 plus a night like last time. . She overheard me telling my partner this and my partner said she said “put her on the phone” in a be littling- argumentative tone , very unprofessional manner. I put the phone to my partner because I was too upset. We both no it isn’t her fault however she should have kept professional as my partner was not rude to her at all, if anything she was walking over him on the phone. I stayed out of it because it’s the second time staying here with rude service and I’m sick to death of them looking down at customers they don’t even know. My partner and I both own a business and I would fire my employee first chance if they ever spoke to a customer like this. It is your job to make sure your customers get what they pay for. It’s not your job to play detective and get on your high horse when things don’t work how they’re meant too. You resolve things and show your concern (if you have been trained) and apologise.
Had enough. Not to mention we turn up and there is a cockroach in the sink and some random pube on the couch. (Not even going to show photos of that) was disgusting.
Some luxury hotel. Requesting a reinvestment for tonight and hopefully tomorrow we have hot water and some manners

Your paying a premium amt per night for the view however the rooms are tired and need to be up graded, the blinds are old dirty and coming apart, the lounge has splits in them which will soon open up, the bed are hard,the pillows are low and not comfortable and there are no other option to choose a different one. The fridge in the room had holes on the door this looks really bad considering how much your asking per night. The rooms are big enough. The view is ok however its not great as trees are blocking your view anyway. Located close to everything you need. Strictly 2 pm check in which is also not flexible. For the price you pay its a one off visit only for us.

Cannot thank Renee enough for her flexibility and help with our recent booking. I had to make some last minute changes and Renee was beyond helpful, ensuring we still received the same room that we had originally booked.

The resort itself is lovely and quiet. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, ocean facing ground floor apartment. Being able to walk straight through the front gate to the beach/cafes and shops was very convenient. The playground directly across the road was perfect for people with children and the bedrooms in the apartment were big enough if you needed to bring a portacot.

I just wanted to say thank you to Renee and her team. We will definitely be back in the future!!

The apartment was more than we really needed. The view from the balcony was amazing, from the solarium it was magnificent. The apartment was all that we needed, including the walking machine and dryer. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this resort with a person I was caring for over the weekend and booked a two-bedroom apartment for two nights. On the first night, I discovered small bed bugs on the bed – I counted at least four. It was too late to do anything, so I stripped the sheets and found heaps of blood stains on the mattress, likely from the bugs. To make matters worse, I found one inside the pillowcase. After inspecting the whole bed, I had no choice but to sleep very uncomfortably.

In the morning, I went to the front desk and showed them pictures of the bed bugs. They denied that the bugs were bed bugs. When I requested a refund and to move somewhere else, they refused and insisted we would still be charged for two nights. Later, a member of our group confronted the front desk and recorded the altercation. The staff then called me up, told us to pack our bags and leave within the next hour, and agreed to refund us for the second night, but still refused to refund the first night.

Regardless of their claim that these weren’t bed bugs, having any kind of bugs under the pillow and all over the bed is unacceptable. They even said we are not welcome there again, but honestly, who would want to return after such an experience? Do yourselves a favor and avoid this resort at all costs. There are plenty of better options in town

I stayed in the penthouse 204. I rang initially to see what coffee facilities were in the room and she said she didn't know. She said there might be a plunger. I asked what size and she said she didn't know. |Got to the place and it was immaculate inside but the outside was really dirty. The couch chairs were pretty outdated...those pleather single seat chairs plus a 2 seater. |I wasn't put off by any of this really it wasn't until I went to use the spa bath that I got disappointed. I was so excited to have a soak. I got in and it didn't work. I tried holding the button down, looked for a switch on the wall, looked for an after hours number...nothing. I told the receptionist when I checked out and she said there was an after hours number at reception. That really wasn't any use to me at the time and I wouldn't have known that. I asked if there could be any compensation for that and she said no there was nothing she could do and to send an email. I sent the email and I never heard back. I was really disappointed as it was quite pricey and I booked it mainly for a luxury experience....I.e the spa. Really disappointed...
