Went for an overnight stay at the peninsula with my partner and luckily found this place. With only 3 suites, this is the warmest BnB I've ever stayed in. Charles is an absolute legend, from the first second introducing us to the property and giving us all the tips.

The room was perfect in size and fully equipped. The mattress is a bit on the softer side but not a bad bed at all. The shower had great pressure and everything was spotlessly clean!

There's a hot tub as well which we enjoyed before dinner.

Breakfast in the morning exceeded our expectations with a good selection and fresh ingredients cooked to perfection and served by Charles himself.

We are tennis players and might come for tournaments to Rye tennis club, which is conveniently at a 5 minute walk from the property, so we will definitely come again!

Stayed here for one night in the Bahama Suite. The rooms have a great tropical Caribbean theme. The bed was very comfortable. The room was not very large though. The bathroom was very flash and modern. The spa bath was excellent. The breakfast was exceptional, with lots of different options and cooked to taste. Very highly recommended. Note: Despite being about 100 metres from the beach there is no view of the ocean.

Our experience at the Plantation House was one of the best ever, considering both B&Bs and hotels. The checkin was completetly uncomplicated, and Charles was the best host one can expect!
He was always eager to give us tips on our experiences (specially regarding the wineries!).
Also the breakfast was SUPERB! You had to fill out a "form" stating what you would like to have the next day, also with beverage etc. Everything was absolutely delicious, and, believe me, it was PLENTY food! 🙂
The room was huge, with high ceiling, expendidly clean and with everything one needs.
The property also has a bath tub, which we really enjoyed!
I can't thank Charles enough for this amazing experience, which was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Lovely 1 night short stay at plantation house. Clean rooms, and nice host. Breakfast was substantial. Off street parking, and close to local sites and shops. Highly recommend.

Plantation house is a great spot for a beach getaway. Charles was a welcoming host who made things nice and easy the whole time we were there. The breakfast menu was extensive and delicious.
The only downside was an excessive use of air fresheners throughout the room and shared spaces which could be quite overbearing.

From the moment my partner and I arrived I felt as though we were in a different part of the world, so beautifully presented from the street all the way through. Greeted with so much warmth and his pup Coco and walked through the property with lots of details, you can tell they’ve built this accomadation with LOVE & CARE. everything was immaculate from the room itself to breakfast in the morning …. I actually felt I was staying with family not at all like a paid for stay.

Charles was an absolute wonderful host and very accomodating. The room was perfect, clean and spacious. The location is great, tucked away on a quiet street but only 5 minutes to the beautiful Rye beach. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to staying again!

A charming and delightful place to stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. We stayed at the Bahamas suite was very tidy, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, making it a perfect retreat. Breakfast was nice and overall experience was good.
