I went to the recent "back in action" meeting that was held. I had an absolutely amazing night. The racing was extremely close and certainly memorable. The Outfits had some very close races and certainly showed that the teams are quite skilful. I will definitely attend the racing as often as I can.

I don't mind traveling an hour or so for the event. We arrived an hour earlier than gates open to see the viewing hill covered with chairs at the top. This leaves us with no options on where we sit. I would prefer a seat away from the dirt spray as I only saw half the racing due to covering my face from the spray of dirt all night . It would also be nice if the food venues give choices on condiments such a gravy with hot chips not everybody likes tomato sauce. I love speedway, I am one of a large speedway family in Townsville. I also prefer cars over bikes, I knew both nights were bikes & still wanteded to support the bikes & it saddens me to say I had disappointing experience Saturday night this is why we did not return Sunday night. 🙁

Yeah was an awesome night,heads up to everyone involved in getting this event happening,and also the competitors for entertaining the masses.

Great raceway, food is very reasonably priced, hotdogs, burgers, chips, dim sims, coffee vans. Grassed areas and stands for seating. Excellent venue.

Great place to view speedway. Motorcycles only ,which is ideal. Good seating if you don't have a fold out chair.
