I spent two wonderful months at Pines on the Plateau, staying in the Pine Lodge, while working locally in Lismore. The accommodation is outstanding and the attention to detail is second to none. Margie and Rob were such thoughtful and caring hosts and the love they have for their property is evident in how well it is maintained. The lodge has a very relaxing comfortable vibe, surrounded by picturesque gardens and spectacular sunsets from the verandah. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit! I would highly recommend Pines on the Plateau for anyone who is looking for the perfect weekend getaway or relaxing and convenient short-term accommodation. Just spent 5 nights in Norfolk Lodge at Pines on the Plateau. What a wonderful place to stay and a great base for sightseeing around the area. The lodge couldn't be faulted; it was so well equipped and very comfortable. The extra touches provided by Marg and Robbie were amazing - the breakfast supplies, chocolates, port etc. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and hope to return some time.

We had a lovely 5-day stay at Pines on the Plateau in March, which was our second stay there. We were in the Norfolk Lodge, a great lodge with beautiful gardens and such peace and quiet! Marg and Robbie were so warm and welcoming, and the lodge itself was beautiful and spotless! We plan to return this Christmas!

We stayed a week at Pines on the Plateau and found it to be the perfect place in the Byron hinterland hills. The accommodation was super comfy, boutique, clean, quiet and well appointed. The sheets were indeed crisp, and the bed great as promised, and there was a lovely welcome snack and brekkie stuff in the fridge awaited us on arrival. ||||Not only was the cabin cosy, cute, and with everything you could need, but the view is totally beautiful, Wow! and the gardens were super pretty too. It's worth a relaxing hour or two reading a book on the balcony just to chill into a holiday mood, or why not a dip in the pool?! ||||Aside from having everything you could need on hand, the location is great for quick trips into Lismore, Bangalow, Alstonville, Byron and Lennox or Ballina, and all the cute hills villages and hamlets without all the drama of being in town. ||||Finally, the stay was capped off by the first class treatment from our hosts who were super friendly and welcoming, but left us to our own devices. Back again the eighth time in ten years visiting Australia. What can I say I haven't said before.||Sitting on the verandah watching the sun come up,, or going down, the vista stretching across open countryside to the far hills with tantalising glimpses of mount Warning in the distance.||I could tell you of our marvellous host's but I have waxed lyrically about the wonderful service they provide .||So I will just say if you wish to stay in this interesting part of New South Wales Australia make this your first choice of where to stay not your last as long as you choose the time when I do not wish to visit! ||This is a Well equipped holiday lodge

We had a lovely 2 day stay at P on the P (Norfolk Lodge) earlier this week and couldn't have wished for more. Everything from the warm and sensitive welcome from Margaret and Rob to the quality of the accommodation, which left nothing to be desired, was first class. We can't wait to return.
