Great position close to all the shops, clean facilities, friendly staff. Mowing is regular but not close to vans so if your stay is a week or more in summer the grass gets out of control around you. Awning/annex ground mats are not permitted which creates a dirty environment & long grass. There is a Homee compound in the vacant land next door & have experienced noise problems of verbal fighting & an extremely loud motorbike that starts up at all hours of the night & early morning.

I thought everything was awesome we loved it. The only problem I had was the prices, I had expected there to be a wristband for at least 2 hours unlimited rides deal. I mean let's be honest a fun fair like this is for poor people not Millionaires, Millionaires don't go to fun fairs unless they are hired to be there. Shout out to Guy McLean, put on a fabulous show and his poetry was something really special and his horses are real gems absolutely beautiful ?❤️. I wish there was more Rodeo as I came Saturday instead of Sunday and missed it. I spent well over 200$ as a single mother... So it's kinda like would I come back again and do that without a ride wristy not sure... I like the way they did it in the olden days I guess. Ahhh okay and I will admit... I thought there was a Lego display and couldn't find it where it claimed it would be and couldn't find the reptile ? area. I'm Australian born but lived in America for 16 years and they have these all over the place they call them County Fairs. They hold a Greasy Pig competition, where you can sign your children up to send them into the arena if they are game enough to try, yeah you gotta sign a waiver. They grease up the piglets and have some chickens running around as well an if the children catch a pig or a chicken within the time limit it's yours too take home, They also get men, women and children to volunteer from the audience and they try, on a somewhat safe rodeo bull ? or horse for prizes like a small young bull or pony but it's really entertaining if someone's got the guts to try, they have a small prize for them just for trying and an even bigger one of they do well and hit a the time mark. Think you get like a hat ? or a tee shirt ? with a little certificate for having the guts to give it a go and they have a photographer to take pictures to get some highlights so you can pay extra to keep to memorialize the moment of you wish. We saw a few men, women and children actually hit the time marks and get a little ? bag of cash money alongside the promised participation prizes ?. To be honest it's more like a rinky dink carnival trying to evolve into a County Fair but missing the mark.

Camp at your own risk. That’s what we were told after their groundsman mowed flinging something large at our van causing deep dents into our van. Placed an incident report in and were told by Gerard that we could place an insurance claim into get it repaired and pay our own excess as theirs didn’t cover it. Piece of advice to the grounds keeper….. mow with your shute not aiming at people’s caravans. We thought we were getting a safe secure reasonably priced place to stay,
Turns out it was the most expensive places we stayed on our holiday. We did have lovely neighbours though. The gym behind the Showgrounds has LOUD music blasting at all hours also. Can’t comment on the ammenities as we didn’t use them.

It was a pretty cheap campground compared to the rest during holiday season. Theres a train station around but it is about a 15mins walk from the campground. Toilets were not the cleanest but it was still ok. Plenty of flies & insects so just rmb to bring some mozzies repellent!

We love it here, there is plenty of room for us.The girls are always friendly and try and help if you have a problem. It is a little noisy, but we have got used to it. I suppose if you parked at the back of the showgrounds, it would be a lot quieter. The dump point is a bit of a walk so most people drive there. There are 2 blocks of toilets with a new one being built at the back of the show grounds. The toilets and showers are old but spotless. You need to pay a deposit of $25.00 which you get back for the key to the showers and front gate which gets locked at 9 pm. There is a great shopping centre across the road.
